I mean, you have to destroy three guns (with time-rigged explosives), you have to take out engineers who control the demolitions (outside of base), and take out the radio station, and all in a base full of US soldiers, and by the way, every shot, explosion, or the alarm itself triggers the Vietcong attacking the base. IMPOSSIBLE.

@kaktuscar86 I finished that mission now,how? because first i silensed nearby patrolling two soldiers and two soldiers near machine-gun then i putted explosives into two howitzer with one soldier then i elimitaded engineers then alarm starts and i putt all my soldiers into trench nearby first howitzer and start shoot enemy soldiers. i winned that mission this way.

on hard difficulty air strikes just target the officers you're supposed to defend ^^ so game and after like 2-3 minutes ^^ still have to guess how to stop that from happening

Good playing, but in Assault Squad, ur tanks wouldnt last 1 min, bombed by anti tank nades for beeing so close at the enemy foot troops.

Anyone who is a fan of Assault Squad or playing with more than 4 units should probably not get this game. I can't begin to understand the developers logic but apparently they wanted to turn this into some kind of 3rd person shooter where the camera is a hundred feet away. Fail on so many levels.

there was no Russian army in Vietnam.

they only helped for air defence and training, not fighting.

@RUbixCUb3ed the main tanks used in vietnam could all do atleast 20mph, the patton weighed about 50 tonnes, and it could do 30mph, which is about 14 m/s, so the speeds are pretty realistic for a game that has to balance fun with realism, the challenger 2 tank weighs over 60 tonnes and it can do 35mph, and 25 offroad, tanks can go alot faster than most people think

so lets get this straight...there is no competitive multiplayer...no skirmish mode...there is only co-op...and missions that are like red tide (having 5 or 6 guys to take down an entire base ALL THE TIME....lol

attila can you show some skirmish...and what factions are in the game mode

@RedDeadFan1232 Vietnam doesn't have "skirmish" like MoW:AS. This is much more about specific missions that will make you brain work much more. You will have limited troops against large enemies forces.

As for the factions There is the US, South Vietnamese, North Vietnamese and Russia. But from what i played in each missions you have a mix of both troops. So I don't know if there will be campaign for each factions.
