Well, I really did and I also know just as much and probably lots more about the "challenges of leading in a an Air Force at war since 1991" than you have even the slightest clue about, HoosierCommonSense. If you knew anything at all about how the Air Force promotes its officers, you'd know how disconnected it is from true leadership.
If you really served with him, then you wouldn't be so flip about the sacrifice 30 years of service requires and the challenges of leading in an Air Force at war since 1991. We don't need another two years from a congressman who minds his masters, does what he is told, and doesn't help his constituents. Ask John Tilford about the veterans Todd Young doesn't have time for.
I too served with Jonathan George and I absolutely would not support him for elected office. Jonathan has charisma and a great voice...and that's about it. To claim he has extraordinary leadership skills merely because the Air Force constantly pushed him to the head of the line because of him having served as a White House Fellow early in career says far more about the below-the-zone mentality of the Air Force than it does leadership skills, and the House doesn't need another democrat.
I served under Jonathan George. He's a man of unwavering integrity with a deep love for his home in Indiana and a history of superb service to the nation. He is just the sort of man that America and Indiana needs. I am a better man for having worked for him.

My husband served under General George throughout different times in his career. If he runs for president, he'd be my man!
