Make it fresh, unique and throw a few 'tricks' in there.....your right, a good set will have a bit of variation but make it a fluid transition...and if you have 3/4 decks, do a bit of phazing...that'll get the crowds going =P

I just noticed your a lefty (or is it righty). I use the cans listening on my other ear (left) and stomp my right foot.

I think that is most common way I've seen (kinda like being right handed).

Obviously neither way makes any difference at all (As long as you get the monitor on the correct side in the booth).

It's just the way our brains are wired up somehow.

One question. Do u try each tune with each available or each possible tune? Like trying the first tune with all the others, or do u do it like "those 3 could go well together" and skip the others ?

Sometimes I come up with surprising results when I try every tune with every other in my selection. Like in my video about "conversating tunes" with similar vocals.

Thanks SOS! You should check out some new Metalheadz tunes too. They have some new tracks that sound like more old school slightly slower, different and jazzy. Burial also just got recruited to the label and has some wonderfully ambient and fully textured tracks. Check out the pod-cast they have.
