Ok curently i shoot a pse bow madness, as the bow is geting old i zone of my eyes to these two bows, ive had the z7 in my hand the grip fits me great really nice draw light bow and nice slid back wall, i have not held the maxxis 31 so not sure if its a good bow or me the z7 felt really good i cant see nothing can fit me beter, so im making my decision on the z7, now before i buy the bow. what rest should i get? sight?stabilizer?quiver? Any budys opinions will help alot thanks.
The reason it's a lousy review. Just look at his t shirt. He's a Hoyt shooter. Him saying they stole the waffle riser is a joke . Just about every bow make out there, has something on it they stole from Matthews. Parallel limbs, single cam, perimeter weighted cam etc. I can keep going.
i love the new Z7 just because (as he says "the Ferrari of bows")but the new hoyt carbon matrix is bad because it has a horrible draw i have shot both and i truly say the Z7 exceeds all the facts that mathews provides it is the superior bow and thats why i got one! hoyt just cant keep up in bows CATCH US IF YOU CAN ; )
That Z7 isn't half the bow of the Maxxis 31. "Ferrari of the bow world." He just lost all his credibility right there. Ferrari of the bow would would be the Carbon Matrix.
The bow has parallel limbs, so the limbs dont flex as much, which makes them last longer??!!!! Hahaha wow. He needs to actually figure out what the heck he's talking about before he goes and posts a review like this.
I've shot both the Z7 and the Maxxis 31. Both are very nice. The Mathews is smoother and a bit faster with a little less vibration. The Hoyt has better balance, a more solid wall and is a little lighter and compact
Well i hate to dissapoint but Mathews does not "lead the world of archery"....they just advertise more than any other company and have a huge following of "fanboys" that will buy no matter what bs they throw out there. Clearly neither guy has a clue with what they are talking about (although one owns a bow shop). First off the bow is not under 4lbs (look at matthews website and the weight disclaimer), is not called the "S" dampner....As a shop owner, you should know what your selling...

That bows actual weight is 4.4lbs and the z7 is not 1/2 the bow of the new Maxxis 31 for many reasons that are not opinions but facts.
Yetty1 2 years ago
yeah..im sure they lie about the weight of the bow

"Ferrari of the bow world".......?? Not really, and not even in the top 10 as far as IBO speeds go but the Z7 is still a VERY NICE hunting bow!!
