They are not dancing at all in the anime, apart from a ball scene. I would advise you to read the comments accompanying this video. Te movie storyline is not at all related to "Hana Yori Dango". The simply made a movie using the same characters. :) I was also confused at first.

Why does it have the same name as the anime though? I'm confused. Is it, in any way,remotely similar to the "actual" anime....??

Good question. :) The only similarities I have found is that Domoyoji is still arrogant, Rui is kind of a loner, and musician who is in love with Shizuka,... Makino is still rather poor and despised by other girls. That's about it, I think. I wonder whose idea it was to make such a movie. :)

there is two verison of the anime.the show one doesnt show dancing but the movie is all about dancing........
