  • Unfortunately, We will never see the Bowery boys on DVD or anywhere else....unless they bring back the reruns on TV. It's been a long time, but I read somewhere that they refused to release the films. There were over 50 films of the "Bowery Boys" too. However, You can get a few on VHS at Amazon but the rest are "East Side Kids".

  • Cool color footage! THANKS for sharing! Until now, I had only seen Bogie in color as early as 1951, when he appeared in his Oscar-winning role in "The African Queen'.

  • The Bowery Boys should be out on DVD just the way the series was released...in Black and White!

  • crap.

  • Hold on here. This is colorized. I'd spot those Necco Wafer tones anywhere.

  • I own a 16mm technicolor print of The Phynx...it's a gem!

  • What a treat. The Bowery Boys...in color

  • I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please view my clip of some rare 1940's movie star cards, including Humphrey Bogart, Judy Garland, Ingrid Bergman, Frank Sinatra, Gregory Peck, Errol Flynn,

Ronald Regan, Lauren Bacall, Bing Crosby and many more.
