  • Really elegant - They were tracking up too! I suppose I'm so used to seeing lighter builds that when a heavy horse is ridden it takes a little getting used to. I think that they look great when ridden and having their tail tied up like that reminds me of sumo wrestlers! "Clydsdales are the Sumo of the horse world"!

  • They calmer horses then my thourobred.I love seeing more of them. They have a place here.Instead of only plows.

  • I think it is brilliant that heavy horses are being ridden and classes are held for them at shows. Clydes make great riding horses and love jumping too. Its a shame their tails are shaved though, but its better than docking them.

  • Why stick their noses to their chests? Submission? Idiots.

  • @Behemothpwns They hold their heads like that because that's how show horses are trained to carry their heads, they aren't always submissive about it. It's also more elegant.

  • so cool! my clydesdale is so damn lazy he won't do anything i wish he would show!

  • Pretty.

That would stink of one fell, though.

    It looks super muddy.

  • what is the limit to a clydes jumping ability?

  • @fcthecool very small jumps,id say nothing over 2 ft because it will mess up their front legs when they land-thats what ive heard anyways

  • lol i spent ages fluffing ma horses white feathers up at a show only for it to rain 10 minutes before ma class when we were in the ring they just got covered in mud ! like the horses in da video ! :D

  • i went to the highland show i watched u ride :D

  • im jelous, and i ride quarter horse and i dont know much about clydesdales but do they buck or rear like smaller horses? dumb question i know but there so big u would think they wouldnt be good at it

  • Well, I'd imagine so as they are just big horses! lol I've ridden a partbred Clyde once and it was awesome... :) *wants one*

  • hi, there not as flighty as smaller horses, like for bucking and rearing, as they were bred to be calm and patient and therefore usally respond to there rider that way.

    hope this helps x

  • Arradoul Majesta was second, and Arradoul Sweet Melody was fifth!!

  • cool i watched this class, did you get placed?

  • Hmm, rather soggy ground I seem to remember! Gorgeous horses though!
