  • Thanks Michael for made these nice informatic thailand videos. I saw more nice places we went the last years, and some new ideas for the next trip.If i see youre videos, i feel i've been there again. Thanks

  • At 2:00-2:15, would you expect Maya Bay to be this busy from December to March (I will be there for a few months)???

  • @whufcwesthamunited

The video is from early march - so yes ! Everybody want to go to Maya and take a picture beacuse of the movie and the hype from the tour companies. Luckily there are many other great beaches to visit with few or no people. You can even find small nice Islands with almost no people . such as Mosquito Island (see video).

  • Is it true that these waters are full of jellyfish?? i´m planning to travel to Tahiland and i´m worried about this!!.. GREAT VIDEO!

  • @johnsalchijohn

I have only had one sting of a jellyfish. That was on a night dive when I was pulled by the pick-up boat through a jellyfish that had been cut up by the boats engine.

Sometimes jellyfish may around in large numbers depending on weather etc. But its not normally a big problem.

Otherwise just wear a dive/swim suit (I always use a swim shirt that also got sun protection).

  • very beautyful beach

  • this bastards destroy everything! so many people! good bye mother nature...

  • look how crowded, yuck bye-bye

  • do you never have to worry about sharks when snorkelling?

  • Oh yes ! I always worry that I will see no sharks and usually you don't.

But if you go to some of the more remote islands you may see a some. I have seen a few small ones around Koh Tao and some a bit larger (1,5-2m) when diving around the Similan Islands, Richelieu Rock etc.

Do not worry ! They are completely harmless around Thailand (unless you are a fish). You have to go to South Africa, South America and places like that to find some of the more aggressive sharks.
