And FINALLY. Kudos, Haselius00, one showing how the inner hatch to the pod's bay actually slides horizontally and not vertically as season three has us to believe. (Of course, by season three, all continuity had been thrown out the window to begin with...)
Sure---the Jupiter uses its struts after landing on a flat surface, and the crew disembarks using the upper-deck's outer hatch: Robinson: "Let's go out and investigate."
West: "Umm, John, you might not want to go out the front...too late."
I like the engineering behind the re-designed space pod disembarking from the upper deck rather than the lower. I always wondered what floor space had been cut through the lower deck for the original pod's launch-shaft. Imagine Judy waking from a sound sleep: "Geez---there goes that damn pod again!"
You are a beautiful soul, you are. This is the third video of yours I watched and I am going to subscribe to your channel as soon as I am done typing this comment. I loved Lost In Space before it became the Will and Dr. Smith show. You've brought the magic back!
@BrianGuilala LOL, thanks! Superlatives are not necessary. I am doing this because I was entranced by the show as a child. This is merely an homage to a group of people who had a brilliant vision of future design. The new web series that is inspired by the original will also concentrate on great design. Again, thanks!
As usual , you put out another fantastic video...well done!!! Now, when are we getting a sneek peek at the new CHARIOT? The new POD is out of this world!!!!
Excellent! Remember the Carly Simon song "Anticipation"? Any thoughts on when the first Jupiter 3 episode might be coming out? Just to remind you, Christmas is coming soon. :)

I like the classic pod much better.

@zoggman2000 This does show the classic Pod. And it's accurate to a fraction of an inch.
The new pod (not shown here) is part of a different effort.

I envy your gift. I applaud your gift. Sorry, but I don't own any superlatives which adequately describe your labors of love here.

I would love to see the robot just do one circle around both decks to get the full view of the whole model.
