  • greenwoods score was great for there will be blood but anyone that thinks it was highly original just dont listen to any contemporary classical music.

  • Anybody know what the piano song from the second trailer is called?

  • yeah its called "fratres" by arvo part- the greatest living composer. they also used it in the film but they only used the first bit of it- the strings, most of the piece is piano and softer strings as in the trailer.

  • "Hey Academy, your rules SUCK."

    Praise the lawd.

I've yet to see that line delivered with more meaning and I loved every second of it.

  • hey paralung, thanks for the FYI on Bodysong. just checked it out and it's amazing. hope we get more from JG very soon.

  • Greenwood's st for "Bodysong" was awesome. For the "There will be blood" trailer they actually used a piece from that previous work.

Greenwood is an impressively original composer. Everything on this film looks great. Can't wait to see it!!!

  • So Wait "Body Song" is that where the There Will Be Blood Trailer Music is from... I just saw the movie and right afterwards bought the soundtrack.. And it didn't have the song in it. I played all 11 tracks over and over!!!!!!?

  • Yes, that piece used in the trailer is in the "Bodysong" s.o. AT least the first part of the music, that percussion part, is from a piece called "Converge".

The "Bodysong" s.o. is veri recommendable, i can tell you.

  • Thank You I owe you BIG TIME!!! :)

  • Now Converge is also from Jonny Greenwood or from another artist?

  • It's from Greenwood as well.

    You're welcome ;)
