I don't think anyone realizes what he's doing is pretty difficult. He has some musical skills to be able to separate his brain from what he's playing.

Anyway, he makes a great point about how musicians are self-seeking these days and get praised for singing their own renditions. Musicians who always sing melodies straight are criticized for being boring, when they are the pure singers, in my opinion.
