This scene is so sweet and kinda sad, thinking about what will happen to him the next day and Dan's devestation. :( But at least this scene showed that Rorschach was still a human with feelings, despite his tough nature, and somehow cared about Dan.
He's a driven, lonely man, possibly a psycopath, at the very least dangerously misguided, despite which he has a clearly defined moral code and great integrity - even Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias specifically commented on Rorshachs integrity in the book.
@phemyda94 Thank you! At last, someone who understands! How can so few people know what sociopaths really are like? Oh, that's right...Dexter has filled their heads with misinformation. Ya'll need to take Psychology 101.
Did they include the little part at the end of the scene, where Rorschach's mask looks like it's smiling? That was in the comic-- I thought it was awesome.
I dont mind the voice it isnt crazy irritating like Bale in TDK and the actor playing Rorshach has an overall brilliant way of portraying hiimself in movement in the confines of the suit and mask a lesson Bale could learn.
That kinda bothered me at first meself. But I relented, when I realized that these are people who build themselves around posture. If you think about it these are the sort who actually live their entire lives in cosplay. W/c actually makes Dan calling Walter ' Rorscharch ' in the middle of an honest-to-God rant, a lot more disturbing. And Rorsharch standing up, and stiffening his shoulders right there, ( after clueing us in on his ' state ' with his schizoid mannerisms ) particularly sick.
Nightowl was basically Roschach's ONLY friend. Or am I wrong?

he's not a sociopath; he has feelings, but he's a bit disconnected from reality

Rorschach could be my friend any day. :P but this honestly was one of the most touching scenes in both the movie and the graphic novel.

I think he was sane, but after the case with the little girl, he lost all faith in most people, and I think he's possibly sociopathic?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
I think he's sane, but just has problems and doesn't trust people, we all have problems and we all have different views of the world.
Disturbed, maybe, sane, likely.

I think I know what the problem is Rorschach's voice now. It sounds too dramatic. Maybe it's just me.
