Thanks for this, it was exactly what I needed to know. However, i still don't know what the relative advantages/disadvantages of A and B are? Is learning one preferred over the other?

Neat demo on Mode A & B keying operation! I find that Mode B is what I use when I send CW. Also, going to try Ulti-matic keying someday.
