  • Wow some of these techniques are just god awful.

  • I'm not conviced by Systema.

  • @velvetpussy I'm not convinced by your username.

  • @0XScourgeX0: You are right to not be convinced by my username because i'm not convinced by systema

  • @velvetpussy haha. you had a choice to use systema or not to, when the times comes, you're 'pussy' will be abused instead of theirs, because for sure they don't have balls. so it's up to you, you can believe it or not, but this'll come in handy.

  • pretty gay

  • Everyone please make sure you take some GasX before attending one of these seminars.

  • Vladimir. You are to handsome to be that phat. Loose weight and gain some arms. And maybe get that 300 Spartans haircut!

  • Looks like on of those gay swingers clubs!

  • @Weston1968 you wish you could do that!

  • @michiyomustang I think with 20 Years of training behind me & senior grades in 2 Marital styles, I think I am probably qualified to say I could could more than likely do that & maybe a bit more.

  • @Weston1968 Woow, so now, my question: If you had trained martial arts all those years, why do you said that kind of stuff about other martial arts? a real martial artist never criticize other martial arts in a bad way.

  • Because it was a joke & nothing more! I didn't say anything about the art! I think you need to lighten up a little & not take everything so seriously. But then again I am from another part of the World & what we think is funny you of course may not! And yes I did do 20 years! I think I am qualified enough to judge whether techniques will work or not. When I was a young I was very easily impressed. But now I am older & wiser I expect a little more than a few flashy moves!

  • @Weston1968 Vladimir would easily destroy you, sweet you trained 20 some years in a dojo, he actually fought in special forces, so hmm who you think knows what actually works.. HMPH

  • @BiebersBiotch That can only be decided on the day! Bring it on!

  • Vladimir is a Humble Master with a big smile but is the most brutal fighter around . What you see are drills teaching you free flow movements . This guy is beyond the real deal believe me none of his students would ever wish to fight this guy for real it would be stupid and foolish. I have had my ass kicked by this guy for 13 years and what he teaches is far more advanced then anything I studied before I met him .

  • LOOKS GOOD.....but must take years to move like that as second nature

  • Cult.

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Systema doesn't really make range distinctions. They train to be comfortable everywhere in every position. Preference will dictate of course and as you correctly stated, given the choice, we'd rather stay up and control distance, but our approach believes that if you stigmatize one range or aspect too much, it serves to add fear. By exploring it fully, the student is better able to recover more quickly from the ground and less likely to indulge it in the first place.

  • Is it common to go to ground in Systema? As iv been thought the opposite in a street fight. thanks.

  • @jdkit Systema is a Form of low acrobatics defense

  • @jdkit There is no set way to deal with an attack or fight in Systema. Sometimes we go to ground simply to play around with how it feels because and because thats where the fight just lead; no one in real life is always going to stay off the ground. Therefore it is important to explore all aspects of fighting from standing, crouching, the ground and while trasitioning between them because you can never guarentee how an attack will play out. But you are correct; it is wise to stay off the ground

  • is it common to bring your attacker to ground in Systema? As Iv been thought never to go to ground in a street fight. thanks.

  • I once read in an interview that Vlads nickname in the army was 'Snake' - figure it was some PR-joke but seeing him move on his opponant ... like a python just much faster!

  • Oh my god what is all this crap !? Why in the hotlinks you put krav maga !? There is no such techniques of krav maga inside this bullshit of body movement or moving around your shoulder like a drunk guy... This stuff was made to make you think body breathing and healing injury helped your soul of blablabla ! Get reality in the face guys ! How can you defend from someone who is attacking you with a knife at your car !? What you gonna do? ...push him with your ankle and make him do backflip on hi

  • @lordjp1 Try it... Then you'll see why... Even the Krav Maga guys who attends these seminars is amazed...

  • @TaeKwonDodk I really want to try this out, because it seems so unrealistic, but I want to keep an open mind, because it may just amaze me.

  • @deguimerautube You should give it a go. I think you will be suprised. When I took up Systema I wasn't sure if it was real or not but after my first lesson I was really pumped. Besides making a better warrior than I have ever been before it has helped me mentally, spiritually and physically. If you want to be a fighter then do something else...... if you want to be a real warrior choose Systema.

  • something looks wrong with vlad man.hes not his usual self.he looks kinda sad.dunno why?but great work as usual.maybe he misses spetsnaz

  • Watching Vladimir work is fantastic - with all his skill you can still see him experimenting and 'playing'. Brilliant!!

  • Amazing!!.. :)

  • tu as bien fait ça Dave!!

  • IMO breathing makes ryabkos system so powerful, I use breathing in the gym, at judo, while driving, at work etc.

And yes in ryabko/VV systema you have to find a way to get out of the situation so you find yourself constantly improvising. Sometimes you just do something that worked and try to remember and you cant cuz you just reacted.

I think systema ryabko trains your reptilian brain so your reactions come from intuition/ sense of selfpreservation

AK is technical and starov Ive nothing 2say

  • @bangermccrusher As a heavy smoker, I can conclude that Systema breathing has done me a whole lot of good ... breathing, sounds so easy and yet learning to breathe right is a whole different matter.

I also find that it has a lot do do with mentality: asians are more comfortable with repetative katas - it usually just doesn't work for Europeans. At least I find that improvising helps me a lot more in bar fights.

  • Vlad, What is the diffence between your systema and Kadochnikov or V. Starov?

  • I find that the Kadochnikov version of Systema is very techniquish and goes into great depth on angles, formulas etc. As far as Starov goes, well he has been officially disowned by Kadochnikov as a fraud who was never certified. The Ryabko version of Systema (Vlad's too) doesn't want a person to focus on learning any one technique but forces you through constant movement and drills to figure out what is possible and go from there. It's a bit more intuitive then just trying to learn one technique

  • Agreed. In addition, Ryabko/Vasiliev have a vastly different focus on breathing, relaxation, form and continuous movement. The other 2 do not have the breath method, the health benefits and the relaxation. Ryabko's method as a result has much more contact, students learn how to absorb powerful strikes and as a result can train with greater contact. I have absolutely nothing good to say of Starov. He is an imitator pretending to know Kadochnikov's work. He is shameful.

  • @systemacanada

Hear, hear... so true! Well said, especially regarding Starov... making money out of Kadochnikov's great work.

  • unreal.....I miss training under VV

  • Love it!!.......we gotta get Vladimir over here to NZ!!......brilliant flow and control......

  • Awesome!
