This is such a great slide show and the music is so appropriate. Even though I don't know any of you it feels like I've known the people in the pictures too.
What a wonderful montage of photographs! The long shirt collars, the tailored bell-bottoms, and the smiles and "thumbs-up" are all fond memories of my youth in Hong Kong. What a treat it was to occasionally skip class and go to the Hoover Theatre for a movie, and later to the Queens Cafe for HK-style French toast and milk tea! And who can forget walking through Daimaru, and listening to "The Young Beat" on Commercial Radio? Many thanks, stone9kung from an admirer in Jardine's Lookout.
Silvawraith2, if there were a time machine, I would love to travel back to the 60's with you and relive those happy, carefree moments mentioned in your comment. I would also treat you to a delicious hot dog in On Lok Yuen! Those were the days and we thought they'd never end, but sadly, they did end.
think this mary hopkins' classic should be adopted for all alma mater reunions....what a creative idea ...with the happy times captured in those old photographs! thanks!
A great song and a nice slide show. Nice to see someone put some then and now pictures to this. Nice that you still get together with your old friends. Peace
i listened to the most heartbreaker song and the most happiest one, but i never thought that someone's memory had been kept in photographs. the best memory was the one that has been in your memory till the end of time and you will never forget.
Thanks for your comment, life is short, we have to treasure every moment that we've gone through, whether it's good or bad, happy or sad. Merry Christmas and a happy New year.
how a great memory of the days.... could you tell was St Teresa School situated in Mei Foo Sun Chuen, Kowloon ? I share with you all folks the great memories of those days...
St. Teresa School 聖德蘭天主教小學 is in Stanley 赤柱. Those boys and girls (now becomes old man and not so old women) are my P.6 classmates, we still have gatherings everytime when I visit Hong Kong. Thank you for sharing our great memories of those days. Have a good day.
That is an old fort at the end of 舂嵌角, it has a nice view that you can see the south china sea or the pacific ocean? You only can go in from Headland Road, there is a tiny road leading to the end.
i refuse to accept the fact i am old, it is just a number game, inside my heart i am still as young as i was when i am 18 years old, nothing had change. Well....hopefully the only change is become more wiser...hehe.... :)
yes.definately those were the day.....how time fly away so fast and it bring away with it our dream, youth, love......etc

At 03:05 I remember this building. I have only been to there once. 印象很深刻. with 赤柱浸信會的弟兄姊妹 sat around this half dome and share our story.
