  • good suppressor overview

  • Do all suppressors have to be screwed in, requiring threading of barrel?

  • @applevalleyjoe

    pretty much

  • which is a better suppressor?

  • which is better Gemtech or surefire suppressors?

  • @wered431

hard to say, I like Surefire for ARs.. and I like a lot of Gemtechs too

  • sooooo jealous, they are illegal here in Australia, only restricted to few law enforcement agencies

  • times like today im actually happy to live in missery (missouri)

if the fed or state gov tried to take my guns they would seriously ned the help of the national guard

missouri is pretty loose with their fired arm laws only one i have a problem with is the pistol age requrement which is 21 to purchase and posses i can buy a couple of ARs but i have to have my momy to buy a fucking .22 pistol lol

  • The states (NY, CA) that make gun illegal are Nazi style government states. They consider everyone in United States a criminal if they own a gun.... Think about that for a moment.... Those officials do not respect the Constitution of United States.

  • Suppressors

  • I didn't know u could post porn on YouTube ferget naked girls open those sexxxxy seprecers and show us the diffrence between them..

  • they call them silencers in the english speaking areas of europe.

their car mufflers are called silencers too.

we don't have bonnets on our cars here in the U.S. but still we manage to keep our engine compartments covered.

james bond films probably did more to introduce suppressors to the ignorant masses of the world and go figure, they called them "silencers" because he was a British agent.

"silencer" is a much less offensive term than "clip". "load another 'clip' man".

  • @GunWebsites what the hell man... I simply don't understand the bickering and arguing that goes on about this topic. It was once called a silencer, but now is more typically called a suppressor because the device does not actually fully silence a gunshot. but it still is both of those words because everyone knows, unless they are a fool or do not know a thing about guns, what you mean when you say silencer. so what is the big deal?

  • @imiritu

the only "bickering" is a stand against ignorance and stupid internet "logic"

by commenting, you just continued the same "bickering" you are suggesting you don't understand..

  • @GunWebsites

    LOUD NOISES!!!

  • I want the used bridge.......

  • you people are retarded children

  • @edd217 Suppressors are NOT legal, look at Wikapedia on the matter. Actually, The following states have explicitly banned any civilian from possessing a suppressor: California, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. However, a prospective user must go through an application process administered by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and a thorough backround check w/ $200 fees

  • @macktrucker921

they ARE legal.. under federal law.. try reading the LAW, not Wikipedia, LOL

You mention 13 'states' (as if DC should be included) hardly a majority..

And you mention 'fees'.. you really are reaching to make it sound like a difficult process, LOL

It takes a few minutes to fill out some paperwork and then wait a while.. there is a one time tax.. and thats it

Why are you trying to make it sound more complicated / difficult than it is??

  • @GunWebsites Oh I read the actual laws and is all that truly worth a couple decibles? Also if you shoot anything above a sub-sonic round, the differences are barely noticable because of one small thing, the sonic boom.

    Lets see:

    #1 PAPERWORK!

#2 MORE money to Uncle Sam

#3 Another fingerprinting by the ATFE

#4 Some damn stamp that I have to keep track of!

But for the people that don't mind giving away money and time for stupidity, I have a slightly used bridge that I'll sell you cheap!

  • @macktrucker921

Does it feel better now that you shook your fist and yelled at all the people with suppressors out there?

  • @GunWebsites If they want to own one, that's their choice. I was merely commenting on your comment that they are legal in EVERY state, which they are not. I live in NJ, EVERYTHING is illegal here! You can't even own a slingshot, get caught with one and you get charged with unlawful possesion of a firearm, YES a damn firearm! I know from personal experience on THAT one!

  • @macktrucker921 SHHHHHHHHH youre bothering the smart people

  • how can I get a supressor for a handgun what do i have to do ??????

  • @Juan777fl i have a video up on how to own a suppressor watch that

  • Don’t know much about SBR & suppressors, question: if I have a SBR say 10in & I put a 6" suppressor on to make the total barrel 16" will that make the rifle legal not requiring me to register the weapon as a short barrel rifle, pay the extra money & carry the paper work around with me? Does the suppressor have to be permanently attached or can it be removable?

  • @ArmedCivilian556

I think you could do something like that.. however using a can is using another Title 2 (NFA) Item.. so you would still be regulated.. only once I guess, not twice

  • @GunWebsites Cool - I'll look into it more b4 I do anything. I would love a SBR AR with a 10” barrel. I’d get more use out of the weapon as I’d be using it for CQB. From my understanding even with a shorter barrel, like a 10”, you would still be able to shoot 300yrds, and still be accurate. What’s your thoughts on it?

  • @ArmedCivilian556

We regularly shoot out to 500 meters with 10 barrels

  • @GunWebsites What are some of the Legalities, with owning an AR with a 10' or a 7" barrel & how does a 7" barrel compare to a 10" barrel, regarding accuracy, velocity, performance & stability issues?

  • @GunWebsites do you know anything about suppressors that fit more than one handgun?

  • @Maniac50AE

Well most .22 cans are great for that of course.. and we took a look at the Silencercos not too long ago, and they are easy to use on multiple pistols

  • @ArmedCivilian556 Yes you could do that but the suppressor would have to be permanently installed. If you need any clarification about things like this I suggest contacting the ATF and getting an opinion letter.

  • @gopedguy27 - awesome and thanks for the suggestion

  • WHY DONT THEY MAKE A 2 FOOT LONG SUPRESSOR FOR 45 ACP SO U CAN BE LIKE THE TERMANATOR WITH A QUITE ASS GUN

  • if i have the right to bare arms why not nuclear arms they have productive uses

  • you guys are lucky... suppressors are illegal in canada, i gota drive way deeeeeep into the bush so no one hears my boomsticks, it's a pain in the ass.

  • There are so many people who have been brain washed by hollywood when it comes to suppressors lol. I legally own a few and its not because i am a hitman i just hate noise much more pleasant to shoot with quietness

  • @GT03235 Speak the truth, I hate when I go out shooting with buddies and they say that my suppressor does not work correctly, my reply to them is "Movies.."

  • @GT03235 u forgot the badass feeling :)

  • but how much will it be???

  • a 14-year-old girl here WANTS a gun!!!!!!

  • What is the affect on accuracy when using a suppressor?

  • suppressors aid a firearms accuracy.. they help to evenly / consistency distribute back pressure and become a 'perfect crown'

  • I'm sure you get asked this all the time.

I have been doing an insane amount of research on suppressors and am trying not to buy in to advertising sales pitches. In your opinion what are the best 5.56 NATO, 6.8 SPC, and 9x19 Para suppressors?

  • @ fdofhsaiuhshgiu

    5.56 = Surefire

    6.8 / 9mm = Gemtech

YMMV, but those are who I like after hearing and FF a bunch of them

  • What would you say about AAC? So far I like those the best, though I can be strayed.

BTW: After using SureFire's 5.56 suppressor, I'll never use a SureFire product again, it barely did anything for sound suppression.

  • @ fdofhsaiuhshgiu

well we are all entitled to out own opinions, but I am 180 degrees from you, I think Surefire cans are among (if not) the best 5.56 cans out there today

  • I'm glad you think so, this whole internet thing would get old fast if we all had the same opinion. If it works for you the best, then that's what you should be armed with. :)

  • WOW. I know I said I would never own a SureFire can, but I fired another one today.

NOTHING LIKE THE FIRST. I really love it.

Sorry I smashed them the first time I commented about them.

I am actually very impressed. I am debating between the Surefire, the AAC M4/SPR, and the Gemtech G5-T.

    Any opinions?

  • I thought suppressors alongside automatic weapons were completely banned from the US?

  • nope, never been illegal and aren't now. They are regulated and expensive so a lot of people assume they must be illegal.

A few local areas don't allow them

  • i live in minnesota is it illegal here were i live trying to get a supressor for my ruger 10/22 for fun back yard shooting....how do you find out if it not illegal...

  • gun shops are the easiest way

  • super cool vid it would be better if you shot them but thanks anyway

  • who said that :S he just said that crossfire or whatever is the best 223 supressor :S

  • AAC is indeed teh best :D i had not intended to offend you in any way :)

  • he said surefirer is probably the best 223 supressor nothing about the best suppressorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • OK when I get one to test we'll give it a review too

Except I don't know anyone who owns one

  • Wow, I am not complaining about the content. In fact I think the content you offer is some of the best on YouTube. My statement was written in the spirit of constructive criticism, not in the spirit of bashing your hard work.

This is a labor of love for all of you. If you are going to document all this information that will be used for years to come, my suggestion was to simply get, buy, borrow, a camera that has a better video resolution.

  • You are 100% right!!

Mobile phone can record better picture nowdays!

  • the tax stamp on a suppressor is it every month or just once?

anyways i LOVE all your vids keep up the good work!!!

  • Just one time, then when / if someone buys it they pay a transfer tax to take possession

  • oh okay thank you i thought it was every month and was like HOLY COW!!! you guys spend alot on your SureFire suppressorevery month

  • yea that would suck.. don't give "them" any ideas though, LOL

  • Enjoyed the video, hope to see you guys shoot them all next. I always love the sound of subsonic ammo coming from a gun with a can on it. Makes me giggle like a school girl.

  • there is something special about that sound, I agree

  • i really enjoy your videos but man, you guys need to get a new camera. You can pick up HD cameras for a few hundered bucks. It is well worht it since you are documenting so much information.

  • Few hundered??? Try $1000 plus!

  • Nice colection of suppressors but poor picture..

  • I could say the same about your comment

  • I like the vid, but the picture quality is awful (like many other of your videos). I think you compress the source file too much. Try a higher bit rate/file size. thanks.

  • No YHM?

  • nope, we got what we could for the video..

I'd include every brand if there was some way to do it

  • i got that same Sig Mosquito

  • It's cool, but it don't show up all that great on video

  • This may be the most informational video on YouTube about suppressors. I had no previous knowledge of the Outback II and its capability of still allowing you to use the Sig Sauer sights. That is just great. Also, the close ups at the end was a great finishing touch since during the first overview we were unable to see the threading very well. Overall, great job! Thank you for all that you do, keep up the good work.

  • thanks the battery died just as I ended the video, so I'm glad I got them all at the end like that too

  • Is there some kind of suppressor that can be set up on guns with out a screwjoint barrel ?

    *****

  • I don't know what you are asking..

like the Gemtech HALO? we showed like 4 or 5 ways to attach the cans in this video

  • wow ...thats alot of suppresors...must cost a fortune....how much do the .22's and 9mm's go for?

  • between $200 and $700-800 if I had to guess

  • In your practical review of the suppressors, will you measure the sound in dB or just comment on how loud it is ?

  • I love the Gemtech Halos

  • Yes a bolt action would be quieter than a semi auto in the same caliber

  • great video, thanks!

  • thank you, sir, for your effort and hard work

  • this is the new camera..

but thanks for the insightful comment

I'm glad you didn't even waste the time to spell out "You" or "to" (you are obviously a busy person)

you should go watch some of the other videos with 10 suppressors compared instead of our grainy one, sorry to have wasted your time

what was I thinking spending all that time collecting these guns and cans, making the vid, editing it and posting it when it is sort of grainy.. what a waste

  • lol

  • Can you give me a good website where I can purchase the UZI with a suppressor? Your video really has me wanting one.

  • not really.. except maybe gun broker

  • prohibited in blagostan (illinois). But I enjoy all of the SBR and suppressor videos out there. Hopefully one day we can all live in free states.

  • Great video.

  • Comment removed

  • In cali, we cant get suppressors, or even threaded barrel on our handguns =(

all we can play with are fake cans

  • Well I think we all know the laws in that state when it comes to firearms. So sad, and I am not sure fully consitutinal.
