Paul was fed up with him by the time he left, but he was brilliant. Too bad, what a waste.Nice to hear him throw in a few extra licks in this version. By the way, if you listen closely you can hear Linda's off key hollering!
@joes6666 You sound like me complaining about Gloria Jones (Marc's girlfriend, she "played" the organ , too) on Marc Bolan records, only I destroy her like she destroyed some of his songs, lol.
It is funny how Paul jokes about murdering a politician and chipping in for a bag of cement to sink the body.
always been my favorite tune.....i cryed when i thought about jimmy mCollough.....played so good...died so young...paul must still be thinking about him.....and linda...great memory
When Paul wrote this he had just finish writing Get on the Good Foot for James Brown and Brandy for Looking Glass so he was on quite a roll. Rumor has it he'll be making an appearance on Shindig in late November.
Man, it's been two years since I've seen this video. I still think it's the best version of this song. I love it!

@Patel10314 Nothing, they're just fun to sing. "Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go..."

This is the best version of this song. It's so raw and cool.
