  • Hey, nice to meet you! You are one brave individual and I enjoyed watching your video, and all the ones you make over at GoAnimate. Reading the comments here was almost as much fun as watching your video. I liked all the helpful suggestions. I have birds here, too, but I feed them. Well now I am looking for that win an xBox place so see you later.

  • @rocquesbiz - I can't believe I made this video 2 years ago... seems like only a few months ago! Thanks for stopping by and checking my art out etc. Really hope you found that xbox place ;-)

  • @etourist2 I found the Xbox place but I was too late. Someone already won it. Drat. It was fun making the video for it, but I did get distracted from others that I was working on. However it was fun and some of my friends are still laughing about it. That is all I really want is to be able to make people laugh and have some joy. One day I might purchase one of your cat paintings, they are great.

  • I love the Aussies

  • WHAT EVER YOUR MIND CAN CONCEIVE YOU CAN ACHIEVE !!!

  • I still think you would win a Sting look-a-like contest-RRRROOOOXXXANNE!

  • Just tell me where to find that contest and I'm there!! (unless of course the prize sucks then, well, maybe not). LOL

  • @RedMudPainter

yes he does look like STING. very cute guy.. but dry personality

"finally, get yourself a Hi-Definition Camera."

it will open up the world of on-line video to all of the potentia viewers out there.

    Have a nice day.

    .

  • I do have a camera capable of better quality though not Hi-def. Some of the scenes in this video, such as the Minimalism in art clip, were shot way back when I only had a low res web cam - hence the really poor quality. That said I can only work with what my budget will allow. It'll be a while before a HD camera will be on my 'must get next' list.

  • Dear David,

    Thanks for your response.

    .

All of your vt. on you tube are really nice, and the ones that are mostly of your good self, don't need to be any clearer but when there is something of detail, HD can help -with textures and shading and such.

    .

I sent a Sanyo Xacti HD2 to by brothe[samoged at You-Tube] earlier this month so he may improve his vt. and I must say that there may be a problemo with You-Tube Australia, in the reproduction of HD, because the vt he

the vt he has taken with the Sanyo Xacti HD2, do not show as clearly as they do when the vt. is posted on the site.

    .

This difference may be in fact due to regional variations in You-Tube processing; there may not be much demand for HD in some locations.

    ,

I don't know what the HD look like when viewed from your neck of the woods, it may be that no one is able to see any HD benefits -because of the current You-Tube process facilities.

I only wished that a similar nice experience may happen for you -like the one when your internet connection was first made to you home; by using HD, but after all this -there may be no difference until you-tube inc. upgrade their facilities.

My swan on the lake looks nice -I'll send it to you tomorrow, I was excited when I saw how much better the vision was, it will come to N.S.W and your state one day soon I suppose.

    .

    Cheers.

    form,

    del-boy.

  • Thanks I'll keep all that in mind. I don't upload my videos directly to YT. I upload them to Tubemogul first which allows me to then distribute my videos to a range of video sites. Although HD does look better the file sizes are cumbersome for my hardware and often unnecessary for most purposes. Though I do agree HD is great when detail is important. Thanks for your interest in my videos and for your detailed response. - TET

  • I enjoy your videos as much as I enjoy your artwork - both are absolutely captivating! I hope to continue to see some new work from you in this new year. I am so grateful that you share your many talents with us. :)

  • Good luck for 2009 David, hope you continue your great art and videos in 2009, many i find very interesting and unique, Regards David ( valuations100)

  • Thanks Valuations, may you have a great 2009 also. (And may my editing software work again like it used to - so I could actually complete a video and post it!)

  • interesting art, i am an artist too

  • Where is that lovely view from that seat? Was that on that trail walk. It looks a good place to sit - obviously not peaceful if the birds are always skriking! A lovely view though - not far from your place, hopefully?

  • That view is looking across the fields of a local farm. The seat is next to a bicycle/walking path just behind a nearby retirement village. I walk past here on my daily walk. Although you do hear birds there the majority of birds you can hear throughout the video are what you can hear just from sitting in my studio (I can't shut them up to keep them off the sound track of my videos).

  • I'm charmed by your introduction and your narrative art; you are making a very interesting presence in the utube dimension with your thoughtful and lent pace and with your dignified honesty.

  • That was interesting. Thanks for sharing your life

  • great video man !!!!!

  • Excellent video TET!

  • Thank you for introducing. I am still kinda new here and this gets me caught up with who you are.

  • Bravo. What a lovely introduction. I love your sense of humor. You crack me up.

  • Those damn birds! Nice intro David, thankyou.
