Try to stay central or perhaps a bit north. The east valley has some good places to stay such as Scottsdale or Tempe and both have good night life. If you're coming in the summer, then I'm sorry. You're best bet is up north in Prescott or Flagstaff. Both are very nice!

South Glendale used to be really nice; working class and blue-collar and what-not. Then it got inundated with gangs and meth. Everyone i met was awesome, everything was massive, didn't run in to any trouble (well maybe in one bar!), weather was unbelieveable and everyone seemed to have nothing but love for us and of course your own military. I think if you drive around you'll see that most of the building going on is in the cicy areas. I live in Surprise and the desert is 5 mins from my door.
For now it is. check with your planning department at city hall, or with Maricopa County's if your unincorporated. Find out what zoning that desert falls under. I've driven out to the Superstitions recently and see rooftops up near the base of the Mtns. Remember, it only takes a majority vote on a board or a council to change zoning.

Arizona is a wonderful state. I loved all 14 years we lived there. We lived outside of Phoenix, but you have Flagstaff-Grand Canyon, Prescott, Sedona-Beautiful red rock country Oak Creek Canyon, Tucson-close to Mexico and so many other great places to see and things to do. Just moved to Mesa a few monthsago from Coorado. Colorado is beautiful for sure but there is something so ancient abut Arizona and I love it here.

I totally took Arizona for granted while I lived there. I lived there for 18 years and never went to the Grand Canyon or anything, so people in Arizona, realize that Arizona is a very different state and should be respected and admired...

Very nice Video, Great Job, Great Photos. I live in the Flagstaff Area, (use to live in So. Cal.really sucks)I photograph Northern Arizona, there's so much to see and photograph. maybe somday I can catch some of the awesome beauty of the southern desert. If anyone doubts our word, come and see it. (then go home)

I think if you drive around you'll see that most of the building going on is in the cicy areas. I live in Surprise and the desert is 5 mins from my door.

For now it is. check with your planning department at city hall, or with Maricopa County's if your unincorporated. Find out what zoning that desert falls under. I've driven out to the Superstitions recently and see rooftops up near the base of the Mtns. Remember, it only takes a majority vote on a board or a council to change zoning.

I will ALWAYS LOVE THIS STATE! I HATE TO THINK that a person can look at the flaws of living in Arizona, and juxtapose it with the trus gifts and beatuy of living here. I am currently in the LONGEST DRY SPELL of my life with the opposite sex, but I WILL STILL LOVE THIS STATE. Any Arizona girls out there that appreciate a good-looking guy who is EDUCATED?

I live in Arizona right now and all I can tell you is I hate this place so much! The ONLY thing nice is the beauty! The people have alot to be desired in the State! Most people are so very rude! Arizona Sucks! I am going home to So. Cal. where the people are friendly and Life is so much better. There is a Arizona! I am living it, but I call it Hell!

Arizona is a wonderful state. I loved all 14 years we lived there. We lived outside of Phoenix, but you have Flagstaff-Grand Canyon, Prescott, Sedona-Beautiful red rock country Oak Creek Canyon, Tucson-close to Mexico and so many other great places to see and things to do. Wouldn't be there this time of year-July however. Got to 122 one July a long time ago.

I just love beautiful Arizona. I've never seen such a beautiful and giant,amazing landscape like Grand Canyon, Sedona and Red Rock County, Oak Creek Canyon.I just was down there in May. I will remember all of my life!!!There's nothing comparing to it in the world. Besides I love all the USA very much :))

Even after all that I have endured with the opposite sex in the Grand Canyon State, I still LOVE ARIZONA! I cannot let the girls that are completely F**ked up dictate how I feel about this state.
