Ronald Reagan was a great man and a great president ! I think that USA and the world need a man like him !

1 person hates freedom.

President Reagan was the greatest political speaker the world has ever known.

"We don't mistrust each other because we're armed, we are armed because we mistrust each other." Truer words have never been spoken so clearly by another person! This speech was one step closer to ending the Cold War, which finally came to an end some 3 1/2 years later as a result of the collapse of the USSR in 1991.

God bless you, Ronald Wilson Reagan...1911-2004. Rest well, Sir!

I missed this one. Didn't know he gave a speech in Moscow during the cold war. Anyway, Reagan was the best President ever in modern ties !!

A speech to the communists near the end of their communism.

It must have been one of his greatest speeches. He should have had an interpreter with this speech. The Russians do not understand English that well. That is why they didn't laugh at his jokes.  If you don't believe me, just listen to the question and answer section.

Ok, while I disagree with many of Reagan's choices after actually listening to this speech, there is no question is was a great one.

This speech was only possible because Reagan did what needed to be done. He forced Gorbachev into the concessions that he made and in doing without an arrogant approach won the heart of Gorbachev....and the hearts of many soviets. THis is how Reagan won the cold war.
