Women do NOT earn 77% of what a man earns per HOUR. Hourly wages are the same for the same job except in EXTREMELY rare circumstances. The 77% figure comes from TOTAL earnings & for good reson. Women change jobs more often & they quit more often. Women stop work to have babies. If women earn less than a man in a salaried postion, that is their OWN fault for not negotiating UP their salary.

Really? How do you figure? So just becaue I might leave my job to have a baby, wheter I do or not is justification for treating me unequally? So if women have more collegedegrees and are in "better" positions then men, where are they? Where are these "better" women in CEO, CFO, Presidents of major corperations? Oh, wait they are being held back because they MIGHT have a baby. That is what nature intended us to do, so you think we are worth less for doing so?
We are SUPPOSED to be talking "rights" here, not biology. Women DO have the same RIGHTS as men. Women CHOOSE to have babies and women in high positions in business NEGOTIATE their own salaries.
I CHOSE to stay home & care for our children for my wifes carreer, losing every penny of my salary at a fortune 250 corporation. I CHOSE that road. What "RIGHTS" do women not have?
You still have not answered my question, you argue that women change jobs and, stop working to have babies, this is the corprate excuse used for years to pay women less. Good for you to stay home with the children, how many women do you think do that? But saleries are approved by board members, they are confidential, so it's hard to negotiate something you don't know, I know for a fact that being aggressive in the workplace gives you the "bitch" lable. I think you bitter about leaving your job.
The supreme court should be disbanded, it has never served the American people the way it was designed to. They brought the world an 8 year nightmare by appointing the worst president in history! DISBAND THE SUPREME COURT!
