Though I guess for fans of LB it is kind of hard to relate to this stuff its a lot different in genre sound and even lyrical style. But despite wsome thinking LB is better or BLB is better is irrelevent even my taste are irrelevent to the plain facts that now he is free to do as he  wanted. LB didn't allow for him to try and do more as he wanted. Fred can be an asshole at times and far to self absorbed. Wes came out of a bad situation. It's not like he didn't try. It's best for everyone he left.

I could see how some could make the assertion that BLB is like Manson mixed with NIN and I agree some simularity but I don't think he is copying much of others besides other obvious influences play a role like more acoustic, spacey sounds and the album expressed feeling of anguish, agression, Somber and cryptic sounds and soft layered and spacey parts not just in the softer songs toawrds the end but song like 4 Walls amped feel and break into soft and etheral end of the song is an example.

Diosano Wes had no say in making the music with LB and the label used that against him. Record deals aren't always the great to have for some looking to stretch their creative wings. Look at when Sevendust had trouble trying to get out of a bad situation with their old record label hanging shit over them. And While I think there is somewhat of a Nin influence here I have the album and it's not a rip off of anyone it has some conventional dark stuff to it but a lot of it is original.

RULAS41306 first off that emo calling out shit gets old. And sometimes he has done great live by himself though it's much more raw live often. I koinda of like that rough around the edges feel to them. And LB was only good when I was young a watched to much wrestle oriented stuff like WWE. And Wes music and even the dark so,mber look has nothing to do with the emo culture and neither does his music. Black Light Burns has more to offer musically then ever did.

Yeah it's certainly different. I prefer BLB to LB more so but it was really odd to se him doing this. It took me some getting use to. Though I'm not big on LB I don't think it's best that he simply left. It would be nice if Wes and LB especially Durst could resolve those issues for their sake. It might happen within time though who knows. lol And don't worry about the emo thing I have done that before in the past when I couldn't think of nothing to say at the moment.

RUlAS41306 LB was too bouncy and the lyrics were to goofy to take seriously. LB was held up by him practicualy and he was forced to saty in thatband after things went south do some reading. Fred has numorous arguments with him aswell as many other famous people. Though not always his faught. I like NIN but Trent was being an asshole by calling LB out the way he did. But the facts are still LB was never musically that good to recieve so much attention.

I miss Wes' old look with the crazy ass paint. I mean he still wears the paint but its just...not the same. And his simple yet killer riffs in LB were better. And one more thing. I seriously needed to do a double take cause I didnt recognize him! I was like: "Woah! Where'd the hair come from!?"

LB's first cd was bad as shiot to me as a musician(drummer),I thought the 2nd was 90% but musically solid, and honestly wes was a HUGE part of that. He left for the right reason's which is why he is successful in his own right.
