@nintendoshadowninja Oh no, Hardboiled means "tough or desenseitized". Its a bit of a stereotype to Detectives and was used as a motif for them in films and literature at times. Flint doesn't fit that category but its just something that popped in my head. Sorry for the confusion.

Good God, I adore this game. Not only does it have a brilliant plot, its characters are likeable and NPC's actually act like people. Being honest? I felt sad for poor Lucas when his mom died, I was worried for Flint in the final area of the game and in the final battle, and cried my eyes out at the ending.

Brilliant game, and a nice song that really fits the situation. :)

@SuperiorX99 there is more than simple reuse of the same song, as well. The game relies heavily on motifs to invoke moods and associations. The fact that this game understands the proper use of a motif is a testament to its brilliance.
