He is the third character you meet to join your team he is in the town I don't remember the name but when you get there for the first time arrows rain down on Mario and Mallow. You go to the inn I think and that starts a cutscene where you see Geno in his doll form. Then Geno doll K.O.s Mario and while they tend to Mario in the upper part of the inn Geno comes alive and heads to the forest to go after something. You follow him help him in a boss and he is in your party bout 2 or 3 hour in game.
