how did it end up on the beach like that?

this beach is near the mouth of the harbour entrance. ships cue here waiting to get coal. there was a storm warning, this ship was close to shore and had no cargo. when it tried to pull out, it was high in the water with the propeller sitting high also. the ship did not have enough traction to fight the wind, struggled some what, and finally got blown back onto the beach.

i think they should just take it apart. Its a bummer the captain didnt heed the warnings and go further out to sea coz that was a good beach.

nice report. i live close to nobby's and have seen the pasha bulker 3 times... the ship is literally on the sand, and its gunna take a lot to get it off the beach (if they ever do).
well. thats just my opinion.
