  • First I scrubbed it with harse and then light steel wool and novus 3 then I used a sock stuffed with some papertowels wrapped around a plastic hanger plugged into a battery operated drill, on that I put novus 3 and it rotates oblong slapping the coin door as it rapidily rotates, and doing this in thin 1 inch patterns I worked my way up and back down the door until it started to create a reflection in the metal.

Don't forgot while you are laughing that you asked the question, good result? :)

  • Can I ask what method you used to make that coin door shine like that??

  • @chrisfi3d Well.. hehe first I used heavy gauge steel wool and scrubbed the life out of it using stainless steel polish as a lubricant. Then I used a sock stuff with some papertowels in the tip and wrapped around a plastic hanger, The broken piece of hanger then in my drill chuck. I use that which rotates the sock at a funny angle and full speed I used that to slowly and painfully run it along the surface, this gave it a nice shine once you wipe all the crap off. Funny right? :)

  • My grandpa has one of these in his basement, but unfortunately I've never seen it in working condition :(

  • The best pinball ever.... and is from 70-s.....

    ekrem rastura :)

  • I've got a Buck Rogers as well, my only pin so far. Love this era of machines. I'd have preferred a Bally machine from the same period, but Buck became available at a nice price so I grabbed him up. Once the main board gets switched out, they run pretty reliably (knock wood).

I keep the sound switch on my machine on the other option, which is less spacey sounding, more traditional.

    Thanks for the video.

  • That is a sweet machine!!!!

  • Sweet machine! Looks VERY nice, especially considering the game's age.

Looks like a good player. Captive ball, too.

    Love the blue LED displays.

Wow, the audio is really doing weird things in the video. Either that, or I really need to adjust my medication.
