is the internet the same as the iphones internet or its a modified version just for phones?

I think this phone has WiFi if i'm not mistaken, but I believe the internet would just come from whatever mobile internet your service provider provides. I haven't gotten my phone yet, but mine internet will be through AT&T's MediaNet that they provide for a fee. I don't think it can use the same Internet as the iPhone
