We are a small 'country' in England yet we are still iconic & famous around the world & have our history, standing & economy as we do & you even came from us!! I didn't say Americans don't perform on UK shows - I was using it as an example of what happened when an English singer went to the US & the massive reaction it got. It was the top trend on Twitter & in the news over there!

@tagspin Shah Rukh Khan is a MAJORLY famous actor throughout the world. Just because you are ignorant to Bollywood films doesn't mean they aren't incredibly famous! Potter & Bleasedale? What ARE you talking about? Again, as I just said, read the list of British programmes I listed. This golden age & 'magic goose' thing is very weird. The truth is that we have amazing programmes in the UK & they are famous throughout the world so you don't have to mention Monty Python when we have famous stuff

@tagspin here at the moment! You imply we used to but don't anymore but that is definitely not true! US geese laying series after series of brilliant TV?? Oh yeah - like 'Two & a Half Men' or 'King of Queens'? Made my ears bleed! America tried to do a version of the IT Crowd & ruined it - didn't get past the Pilot stage yet Americans liked it so much they wanted their own version! Top Gear is also incredibly popular over there - 99% of Americans hate their version & still watch ours!

You haven't even touched on the TV programmes I mentioned and there are more British programmes that have been bought by America and kept as they are or changed to fit your audience. Dancing with the Stars is extremely popular over there from what I hear...based on the British show. Why do you not accept that other countries are also brilliant at entertainment?
