if yo want a more boring way of killing rats, here's a tip; dig down a sodabottle in the ground, like a 2 liter or something with the only the opening visible, and put some bait in it, trust me, the rats will get in, but not out, and when the bottle is full of rats, you put the cap on and do whatever you want with them, target practice etc. lol

@FullBloodedHmoob Well, rats and mice provide food for things like snakes, large birds and larger mammals. Mosquitoes and flies also provide food for fish, small birds, spiders and so on. They do have their place, and removing them would screw up the food chain. I hate those things too, but if you want to find out what happens when you try to kill them all, look up the "4 pests campaign". Mao Zedong thought they were useless too; his attempts ended in a famine that killed 20+ million people.

Any pellet rifle with at last 500 fps can kill a rat. Walmart $40

I do it with my bb gun. no big deal, Red Ryder circa 1982.

The trick is to bait with peanut butter . It dont even matter if its a head shot.

Ive hit em in the chest and they run for 3-4 feet and fall dead as a door knob.

Here's a tip:

Place peanut butter high up, like on a branch. The rodents will smell the peanut butter and come out (especially at night) searching for this food, but will never find it (or reach it) and you will have plenty of time to take out multiple targets.

i am 13 and have a toy crossbow. i have modded tht crossbow to 200fps. it is a strong crossbow and nearly full metal.i have made the sucker darts tht stick on window to a dart which has a nail at the end and a needle at the end would tht kill a rat heat shot or will it take more than one of each bolts to do tht i know that is an insane question but i am just getting into hunting, and want to hunt my own meals instead of hunting in a supermarket

A friend of mine had RAT'S in the back garden so i done a few night's with my B.S.A 2.2 had some good fun but the little fuckers was dragging the dead rats under the fence the little hungary bastard's, they love to eat dead rats so make sure you have a good tidy up when your finnished because they will FEAST on carcases when your back in the house a sleep
