Ok, I'll rephrase. I shouldn't have said the universe couldn't exist as it does today without time. Maybe I threw you off. I'm not talking about the creation of the universe, just the equation. Without the Constant (C) the equation is worthless. Without time, there is no Constant. The Constant is 299,792,458 meters per SECOND. No time=no constant=no equation. Time is as key to the equation as any other part. That is the simplest it can be put. You are wrong.

In few words... a small amount of mass can be turned into a LOT of energy

Time is included in the speed of light term(i.e. c^2) of E = mc^2. If you state the speed of a thing(light) and the distance traveled, you also then know the time elasped. Velocity has units of distance/time.

I find this to be so interesting. Einstein makes a remarkable discovery in science which led to making a bomb. Later after the bomb is dropped on Japan he finds out the he is responsible for the death of thousands of people. where a is acceleration and also requiers time.

The fact that length, time, mass and energy are part of the equation is nothing special.
