To this day I STILL play SOTN. Great characters, decent voice acting, amazing weapons, and simply time-stopping soundtracks. I'll admit the first time I heard this song, I teared up a little bit. SOTN is my favorite game ever made. I would LOVE to see it recreated with today's graphics, but maintain the original soundtrack and NOT REMASTER IT!!! lol

Whats wrong with the grafics. They are absolutely stunning, even with todays standards.

The only thing I dont like is that the music pauses as you open the menu screen.

There's nothing wrong with the graphics. They are AMAZING for a psx game. I'm just saying I wouldn't mind seeing sony or xbox getting their hands on it and maybe make it 3d or throw in that beautiful HDR or something to make the game THAT much more breath-taking.

Symphony X had quite a bit to do with the influence of Castlevania SOTN OST as well as some track. Love this GAME! MUSIC! everything! I find this to be the best and well made for 2D.

Absolutely correct... Not only its weak, it's in a mess. They should focus on the story line rather than the game. Like Lament of the innocence the story it so weak and you got to fight five bosses to get the Walter, its just pure stupid.

I dunno. I thought the story in SOTN was alright but not its selling point. It was fairly simple, and the dialogue was pretty much...terrible. I know, I hate to say it, but it's true...except Dracula, only good voice actor in the game. However, the music and item collecting completely did it for me, not to mention the beautiful areas.

Sometimes a game doesn't need to have a blockbuster type plot to be good. In this day and age of video games I think it's easy for some to forget the gameplay portion of what makes a good game. Castlevania meets Metroid was definately a formula for some great gameplay.

I think Castlevania: SOTN's soundtrack is one of the best in the Playstation console. I prefer the music that is present before the castle is inverted, but this one is still enjoyable.
