Our culture is essentially intact. This despite the onslaught from the Abyssinians. I used to sing this when I was herding cows back in 70's. Now the young generation has maintained it to be enjoyed by Oromo every where.

We Somalis kicked Amhara nd Tigrea asses for centuries and they know it. The last conquest of Abysinia was in the16th century by Somalis and their Cushitic Aliances such as the Oromo. Some Oromo maybe Habesha but the majority of us are not. As a matter of fact, up until the late 1880's (Menlik), Oromia was a separate nation. If you want to speak about Oromo, please read Oromo history. I don't go around telling you about Tigray or Amhara history (except for what they have done to us).

First of all, my dad is 100%Oromo, I still have family that live back home who are all 100% Oromo and none of whom are as ignorant as any of you!
