No matter what material gains you have on earth, it will not go to Heaven with you. God will not be happy with you if you chase the material world, Hollywood etc. They are false idols. All that matters is what you have done for Christ, who you have comforted in their sorrow, who you have led to Jesus. Who you have encouraged, shown true love for, rejoiced in their accomplishments, loved for themselves. We must all say when we wake up each day, Thank you, Lord for this day! ?May I use it wisely

This song was sung at my Mother-in-law's funeral last Tuesday. This could not have summed up her life any better the life she lived for others each day and most of all for God. She touched so, so, many lives here on earth and now she will get her reward in heaven. Could this all REALLY be true? i grew up in a christian home and i like to call myself a christian. I grew up a loner and moved around a lot so im by myself a LOT. I got a new job in a distribution center and the guys that work there dont care about anything and distort every little thing i say. HOW am i supposed to be a witness to these people? Robin is such a treasure which God has given to the Church. I became acquainted with Robin a year ago through the kind providence of God. I told him it was no accident that he has come into my life. This song is a very special treasure which brings tears to my eyes.

When my Aunt died...this was the song they played at the funeral! :( It was so sad I cried. I cried more than her own children. She was my God Mother. She was sick with something that was eating through her skin. She dealt with it for over 20 years. Her one wish was that she would make it for her youngest daughter to graduate high school and get into college. The end of my cousins first semester in college, we got a call and was told she passed. :(

you cant just take one thing which Jesus said and run away with it along a another tangent to complement them with your own ideas. Jesus also said that there is no way to the Father but through me. That is, he is the only way to salvation. The gate to life is straight and narrow. The gate to destruction is wide and broad is the way Matt 7. All other religions are false. They are meaningless and their gods derive from lucifer and they lead to death or hell. This is what Jesus said.

@bgmvw1 I had no knowledge that she added her voice to that, but the person that I heard it come from was Paul Washer. I was thinking of using my cricut machine and some vinyl to cut out the words and post them to the wall and something else too that he has said. Not sure yet. 6 months pregnant and perpetually tired these days..Blessings

Well this really opened my eyes to alot of ppl that push God onto as many as they can, yet i did not hear anyone own up to being a sinner?
Everyone is soo determined to their self-righteousness it is ridiculous.
Jesus enjoyed being alone and praying, i suggest that at least 1 person here do the same. Even though i am Terminally ill, praying for others is the only way, so i will pray for all of you to have your shackles loosened and feel the freedom to just be. :o) <3

This song was sung at my Mother-in-law's funeral last Tuesday. This could not have summed up her life any better the life she lived for others each day and most of all for God. She touched so, so, many lives here on earth and now she will get her reward in heaven. This song brings tears to my eyes each time I hear it, such great meaning of words for us to measure our lives by each day.

Could this all REALLY be true? i grew up in a christian home and i like to call myself a christian. I grew up a loner and moved around a lot so im by myself a LOT. I got a new job in a distribution center and the guys that work there dont care about anything and distort every little thing i say. HOW am i supposed to be a witness to these people? I'm just considers the religious guy. and i dont like that profile but god means so much to me. is this REALLY worth it? im lonely and its really hard..

Remember, He had a purpose for establishing His church, and fellowship with other believers is very important. "Lord, touch j right now, and give those darts thrown against him no power. May j be strengthened at your table Lord." God bless you j, keep your focus on things eternal! He is worth everything!

I am so sorry that you are hurting this badly, but your knees will also bow one day,and your tongue will also confess that "Jesus is Lord" And yes, there is "religion" but you don't want that. There is the "true" way to God and that is "Christianity." I am glad that I saw your remark, because now I have another to pray for. I want God to heal you.for I was also a "hard case" but, someone prayed for me,now I love Jesus with all of my heart.

Your right, all religions are a lie; however, true christianity is not a religion. It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. His mercy and grace over my life and thousands of others are proof enough. He died for you because apart from Christ, you owe a debt that you can't pay. I encourage you to read a book called "Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. If you are still an atheist after that, then you have more faith than I do.

The point is that everything started from the Big Bang or it was created. I had to check out your channel. I appreciate your opinion as I think many Christians have had this opinion before they met the truth in person. If you tell me how my life has become worse since I met Jesus Christ. It is unfortunate that we Christians are the worst testimony for Him. Yet I feel, listening to this song, that it happens to be about our life now, in the present, before we reflect too late.
I faced death in March, talking clearly with the Lord, so songs like this mean SO much more to me now. I want to wait until it's the right time to go, then I'll pass over in peace.

Yes, Robin Mark's work often has a Celtic feel, like 'All for Jesus', so you hear Irish instruments. He's from Northern Ireland.
Don Moen's version of this song uses Uilllean Pipes in the intro - always wanted to learn them, but a guy I met playing in the street in Belfast told me they're all handmade and start at £1000 for a beginner's set!
I'll stick to my fretless bass for now, thanks.

When my Aunt died...this was the song they played at the funeral! :( It was so sad I cried. I cried more than her own children. She was my God Mother. She was sick with something that was eating through her skin. She dealt with it for over 20 years. Her one wish was that she would make it for her youngest daughter to graduate high school and get into college. The end of my cousins first semester in college, we got a call and was told she passed. :(

God is Love. God is Holy. God is a Consuming Fire. All 3 of these are things which God IS in the Bible. Would you say that anyone who has been burnt up in a fire has experienced God? There's more to God than his fiery wrath (which will consume his enemies). More than his unique holiness (which is our problem). More to God than his love (which is our hope). My heart is pleading that you'll check your words against all of Scripture, so don't fall short when it's all been said and done

He is Love and Holiness, he is Just and a pure light which penetrates the darkest of dark.
Without being as arrogant to say i KNOW, I would suggest that his fiery Wrath, and pure light are the same metaphor.
As pure light penetrates and expels the darkness, a fire breaks down and burns up anything unworthy.
When jesus says THE MOST IMPORTANT thing is to love our neighbour as ourselves, he doesn't mean just love good people, love evil people also.

your first statement doesn't make any sense to put it kindly. Hate is not evil sin is evil, and evil is the absense of God. God hates so we must hate evil. yes Jesus said to love but he also called the religious leaders a den of vipors and constantly critisized them for their hypocrisy. that being said he hates hypocrasy too. so stand firm in your faith and don't simply "love" but hate your sin and repent of it. i quote scripture but not directly

you cant just take one thing which Jesus said and run away with it along a another tangent to complement them with your own ideas. Jesus also said that there is no way to the Father but through me. That is, he is the only way to salvation. The gate to life is straight and narrow. The gate to destruction is wide and broad is the way Matt 7. All other religions are false. They are meaningless and their gods derive from lucifer and they lead to death or hell. This is what Jesus said.

The interpretation of "light" and "truth" are all that remain unsure. I often pray for understanding.
It is our anger, hate and intolerance toward others which often lead good christians down a walk of darkness. Even if others are not of christ, we must love them.
