  • how do you measure the results you get?

  • I love the fact that you have done this video and compared between the Clarisonic and a toothbrush. As far as I know, toothbrushes rotate round and round and the Clarisonic does not. The toothbrush would only move in one direction and while it may do you some good on one side of your face, it wouldn't be that beneficial to the other side since it would be rotating in the oposite direction. Wouldn't that do more harm than good? I've had the Clarisonic for about 2 yrs now and it's worth its cost!

  • @Ghaalya1 Great observation!!

  • @fionaman Thanks! I love your videos; they are very informative. Thank you for all the time you take for testing products and in comparing them, and most of all, thank you for your honest opinions.

  • I prefer my electric toothbrush, does the same thing :-P

  • where did u get the clarisonic brush lid?

  • @brbie324 Comes with the brush.

  • my electric toothbrush does the same thing...lol :)

  • do you have oily skin? If you do, have you become any less oilier now that you've used clarisonic for a longer time?

  • @JuliaSeiko Yes, I do have oily skin and no, the clarisonic did not make me less oilier over time. Oil is produced from your body then goes out to your skin. Since the Clarisonic works only superficially, it will not slow or impede oil production. But if you use the wrong brush, it will cause dryness and skin flakes due to the abrasiveness and harshness of the brush.

  • @fionaman thank you for your answer :) great review!

  • i think you should do sigma vs mac brushes

  • Watch the video titled "Unboxing: Mystery Package" for the answer to your question.

  • great video, i love the clarisonic my boyfriend got it for me on christmas and damn i am in love. i made a video on it . great review

  • You have a great boyfriend!! If you like, make your video a video response to mine. I would love to watch your review on it :D

  • Hey, do you know of Shoppers Drug Mart has this clarisonic? I need to grab one before Christmas this friday for the gf.. and she works at Sephora but I never heard her mentioning the clarisonic being there.. does the Holt Renfrew 100% have it? Thanks!

  • I went a few weeks ago to Sephora and they didn't have the Mia, but they had the Classic. I don't think SDM has it. But to be 100% sure, please call your local Holts, SDM, and Sephora to check.

  • is the clarisonic in any way better than the 1st older electric facial brush that broke in the shower???

  • Yep!! The Clarisonic vibrates instead of just rotating like the old one. Also, it's a lot easier to control.

  • thanks for the review. i also saw michelle phan's video about using an electric toothbrush in place of the clarisonic. BUT i've used the toothbrush she used in the video for brushing my teeth before and honestly it was so harsh. i also currently use the green one you showed in this video and i can't imagine using that on my face twice a day. i just ordered the clarisonic mia last tues so hopefully i'll get good results from it since stress has really broken me out. totally love your videos btw!

  • I'm so sorry to hear that you have broken out really bad lately. I am the same way right now...the culmination of stress and using products that don't work for me has given me lots of acne. Best of luck and let me know what you think of the MIA when you get it.

  • Awesome!!! I really want to buy the clarisonic now :) I had an idea since you mentioned dry skin and I get that too, especially in the winter, I wanted to find a moisturizer to augment my normal one. I used to use Nivea but I HATED it because it's so greasy, so this year I tried Pond's Moisturizing cream. It's cheap, not very scented, and it absorbs beautifully. So far I've been really pleased with how moisturized I've felt, so that might be something you could check out. :)

  • Thanks for the recommendation!

  • Aww your eye makeup is pretty! The lighting is a little bit better with the lamp.

  • Thanks so much, Sigourney. Also thanks for the feedback.

  • quality is actaully really good!

  • Thanks Jessica. I'm actually not that happy with the beginning of the video because the song isn't as loud as the latter parts. I try to be a perfectionist when it comes to video editing.

  • nice meeting you at Sephora!!!

  • Honestly, I was completely caught off guard. That's prob why I was blushing so much. Thanks for saying hi! I really appreciated it. How are you enjoying your Sephora purchases?

  • hey, just wondering if you know where to get the invitation for this weekend's mac sale at markham fairground????

    i wanna go desperately.....

  • It's whatever I mentioned in my MAC Warehouse Experience and Information video. I don't know any other way. Sorry.

  • I thought the quality of the video was great.

Thank you for the review. I was secretly hoping for the cheaper alternative, but I had a feeling Clarisonic would be the winner. If I want my skin to be able to survive another Canadian winter, I should probably invest in one. Thank you for the site information as well!

    :)

  • Haha, I was secretly hoping that too so you would all be in awe how much money you could save. Unfortunately the tests were in favour of the Clarisonic. Let me know how you like the Clarisonic when you get it!

  • I loveee the Review ! : )

The brush head really does make a huge difference ! : )

  • Thanks for the great review! I'm def going to get me a mia...perhaps as a xmas present for myself :P tee hee

  • Thanks for re-commenting!

  • What was the matter with the cleanser...? Did it have any results at all....or did it have bad results..?..Did u use it with a cleanser...or none...i may have missed that part in the video...

    Thanks!~

  • I use the Clarisonic with my own cleanser. You definitely need some sort of cleanser or it would be too abrasive for your skin.

The cleanser that the Clarisonic came with just didn't do anything for my acne, which in turn made it worse. There are much better cleansers out there in the market.

  • thanks for the review hunn!

i never even imagined that an electric toothbrush

could be used to cleanse skin =0

  • Thanks for re-commenting, Cerine!
