@hmcg020 F.O.Discharge was done in March of 2008. This one was shot in Jan of 2009. I suppose you have just seen the improvement of 1 year. I try to maintain this visual transparency of improvement. With each video is an improvement. Thats part of the reason why I dont have a video for every song I know posted.

Now that's much better. Very clean legato, tapping. You have improved since that Winter Madness cover. I don't know this song personally, so I cannot offer very detailed feedback.

One general improvement to your technique would be to keep your left hand fingers closer to the fretboard. You have the tendency to lift them too far from the strings, which makes playing fast a bit harder than it has to be. =) Even Jari Mäenpää has this "problem" to some degree. =) Good job anyway, you play well.

It's not a huge issue, not imo; it might help to take care of it, but it won't make him that much faster; however something the author should look at is the angling of his fingers, noticably his pinky finger at 0:50 and other times when he has to barre double stops and chords; the hand, I'm sure nobody will disagree, should be sticking out in front of the neck, and the fingers should be as perpendicular to the fretboard as possible, when holding notes down. Otherwise, it's easy to get an injury.
