When I first heard the name Leon Panetta, I was like "who?? Has he even served in intel?" I mean, how can you possibly nominate someone who has NEVER really worked in intel? Sure, he may have seen some documents or been briefed from tiem to time, but that hardly qualifies one to run a premiere intelligence organization. It's like nominating Porter Goss. What a joke. At least Robert Gates, the current DEFENSE Sec., has cia experience.

Of course lack of experience in something like this is a hindrance! When is lack of experience EVER a good thing?? Having experience is great; it's being jaded by the system from being in too long that we want to avoid. This Leon Panetta guy is a total fraud. What qualifications does he have to run the ENTIRE CIA?? Tell me. If I'm reading correctly, all he has behind his belt is some intel briefings. But he has NEVER even been in the CIA! How can you fucking run it without being there?

I stand corrected. I just read GeraSchmidt on Panetta. If this is the case he will do as he has always done, do what David Rockefeller wants him to do.
