what can we do about our currupt councillors, a blog! Anyone got accurate information contact me, its time people knew why liverpool was poorly maintained for so long. Why even after a heavy government hand out for Culture status, their still millions in debt, which tax payers will have to fund! The tax payers of liverpool ask yourselves why should you pay for the incompetence, BAD management and curruption brought from liverpool coucil! Not to mention the cocaine problem in and around the city!

to be fair alot of people always say spread the money out to toxteth,? why not other areas of liverpool,

what about norris green , croxteth, halewood speke, kirby, anfield, i live in the dingle so obvious im from toxteth but some of the areas i have mentioned are far worse than ours, something should be done, capital of culture has done nothing put huse prices up and moved the alot of scousers out of town

As a scouser who has come to London for a year to study, I can tell you that London has far worse areas of poverty and deprivation. Liverpool has its grotty parts, but nothing compared to what I've seen down here. London seems to have far worse extremes of wealth and poverty. Can't wait to come back to Liverpool!

as waaren bradley the council leader tried to explain, the important issue is firstly to show potential investors how serious the city is as a center for investment. that requires an overhaul of the business center which is what we see now. then hopefully like manchester the investors will come and money is then made to spread out into areas like toxteth along with money from europe. it wont and never will solve everything at once.
