  • gosh, its you again with the horrible pitch, kia will commit suicide, he he

    Kia luv u

  • Im stealing that bird from you!

  • It's so neat to see your progress with Kia. She was responsive to you from the beginning and she always asks for your affirmation. She's so sweet! I love how you communicate with your birds like kids you're trying to teach rather than dogs you're trying to train.

  • Did that bird seriously just say "To the windooow, to the wall!!! Til the sweat drop down my balls!!!" ...???LMAOOO!!! AWESOME!!!

  • she totaly sounds like Buu from DBZ so cute:X

  • HAHAHAHAHAAHAHA She's singing lil jons Get Low hahahaha "to the window, to the wall, to the sweat drips down my balls!" ahahahaha

  • lmfao xD

  • is it nessicary to talk to the birds in a high pitch? like as youve prolly seen in my other comments(which you are prolly getting sic of) if they want to talk, cuz they prolly wont be able to mimic low pitches right?

  • I can;t change me, or rather, at this point, I don't want to. I like my high voice for speaking to my birds. So that's just me and I don't apologize for it. It's okay if you don't like it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and not eveyone agrees with each other. Maxi, the African Grey is an example of one of my birds that speaks in a man's voice. I had her DNA sexed so I know she's female but she does speak in a man's lower pitch/tone. She usually asks for water in a deep male's voice.

    ^j^

  • no no lol i enjoy the high voice. but will the bird catch on quicker if you talk in a high pitch, becuz thats prolly how they talk, in a high voice

  • I don't think it has to be a females voice, or even a high pitched voice. It simply has to be you, your style and if you are comfortable with it, the bird will want to mimic you and be part of your flock. Just be interested and talk with your birds often. It's also a good idea to have fun, Let them hear you laugh occasionally. Enjoy time spent with your birds and they will enjoy time spent with you.

  • der ist echt cooolll:):):)

  • Hilarious.. xD

  • haha, I see you have them listen to the censored version :D

Wouldn't want them talking about sweat dripping down their balls when other people are around.

  • I only ever hear the censored version anyhow. It was on the radio (clean version), so I didn't even know for a long time that there even was a different version! I would Not want them to say anything inapprpriate. ^j^

  • The parrot is great but not the woman in the back ground with the high pitched nasal voice...just let the parrot do hits thing!

  • I TOTALLY agree with you, H2O, that lady in the background (Choozylady) is annoying with that high pitched whine! Geez, Choozy, let the parrots talk!

    ^j^

  • "I love this!

To the windows to the walls!"

    That parrot is wonderful.

    x3

  • i LOVE that parrot!!

  • My amazon LOVES rap too, but I haven't been able to teach her new words lately. I was watching your other videos, and I wish I could do those things with my bird. She was abused before we got her and it's been over 5 years and she loves us, but she's still shaky about getting baths and you can't go up to her quickly. Anyway, how do you teach them phrases?

  • Be consistent, patient and very animated when you repeat the phrase you want her to say. Animation and patience are key! Read her body language (sounds like you already are) and warn her first before you do something or ask her to step up. keekee no longer steps up on command, she growls and hedges back, and she has Never been abused. their personality changes as they get older, too. Be consistent, patient and happy! Don't forget that exerburant enthusiasm (animation)

  • yer i asked my dad and mam they said i hade one when i was lill but they hade to sell it coz it was saying thing that should not be said to a kid u no wat a meen but now am older i might be get one so i think ma mam and dad no all the stuf like that ps jessie x

  • mint parrot am gonna get me mam and dad to get me one lol ill teach it funny stuf like that lol

  • Hey sweetie, please do alot of research, first! Parrots live a L-O-N-G time ( up to 80 years or more!), and they are quite expsensive, have special needs and can be very messy! Please. do lots of research first, okay? You are probably young so take alot of time to investagate, research and find out everything, and then present that information to your parents, okay?

Good Luck and let me know what happens.

  • Yeah, they live a long time! I ended up having to move across the country and it was impossible to take him with us... We had him since he was born so I was looking forward to having him forever.

  • That was Kia saying "I ain't neva scared" then, "To the windows, to the walls, till the sweat drops down and falls", but it was me saying, go ahead girl, push it to the limit!

  • omg did she really sing all of that by herself? thats amazing!

  • it sounds like elmo and whats with all these videos of your bird telling it to rap. not a very good job if you ask me but the bird is pretty

  • Thanks Keekee is pretty. She is the only one that likes to rap, tho. No curse words, ever. She's a good bird. She likes to say To the windows to the walls, alot, but she also says "I Love You" Night, go fweepy" Good Bird, good bird and lots more, usually in a sing songy voice.

    ur bird is really cute ^^ i love it.;

  • Thank you

    ^j^ ^j^ ^j^

  • Being an Amazon is not about being cute, but being tough and keeping the old "owner" in line. I've got mine well trained.

  • Kia is so charming! How did she come to love music? Did you play it for her when she was young?

  • Yes, Christina. Kia was born 3/14/2002 and I am her first companion (owner), having had her since she was weaned. They really took a liking to music from the beginning! I would go into the "birds room" turn up the music and smile and dance happily. They are drawn to happy times and fun!

  • y all these vids about ur bird?

  • I have over 50 videeos here on YouTube and about 40 of them are about my parrots. It is in the pet catagory (I thing I checked "pets"), but I just love Parrots and I think they are amazing companions! My parrots like to Rap, sing& dance & I show them on YouTube, doing just that.

  • Cause she loves her birds...if you don't want to watch bird vids than dont click on them. duh.
