Brilliant advice! Another tip for haircare while swimming is to cut a hole through a swimming cap, stick in on your head and poke all your hair through it, slap on some conditioner then finish off with another swimming cap on top. Your hair doesn't soak up ANY chlorine and gets a full conditioning while you swim. :D

i want to do a two strand twist to my 7yr old daughter hair...do you think that is to much of a mature look for her age? i was 17 when i first relaxed my hair, but i want her hair to stay natural as long as possible. i wish i could go back to my natural hair, but the thought of cutting my long hair bothers me and my family will go crazy!!

I think the two strand twists for your daughter is just fine for her age...there are ways of going back to your natural state without cutting it all off...message me. :)

BTW - i know what u mean about using an add on ponytail..those are my lifesavers..whether its going out to the clubs or just being to lazy to dry and iron my hair..my drawstrings are on hit!

The pool tips are great! I went to the pool yesterday and of course it soaked all the chlorine up and my hair was stiff mind you I have very thick hair but shiny and smooth. Ima try this next time cuz we use the pool lot ova here in fl :O)~. Great tips! Thanks!

Great vid and tips. I put vaseline on my hair before I swim to coat my hair! It prevent the chlorine or saltwater from even trying to damage my hair!

No I don't use a swim cap, but you can if you want to....I put on a satin cap on my hair before sleeping. You're so welcome! :)

Thanks for the great tips! Your hair and makeup looks fab! How long did it take you to do those smaller twist because I have a shorter fro and I tried to do the twist but it seems like it took forever with my shorter hair!!

Thank you! It took me about an hour to do the twists...the key is to do them while your hair is wet,wet hair is easier to twist. I'm glad you enjoyed! :)

Great info girl. I avoid beachwater and pools like the plague because of the chlorine factor. I wear NO makeup when its hot out, not even concealer. Just a SPF15 foundation. lol.

Great tips. I especially take extra care during the summer month, because I swim alot and I have to protect my skin by using the correct sunblock and etc. I already have a tan now which I love, but i definitely want to ensure my health by taking the necessary steps that is needed.
