@hayu692 I let it dry completely and put it in a loose high bun and I wrap my head with a silk scarf. In the morning, I let it down, and spray it with a watered down version of the kinky curly custard to eliminate any frizz :)

I need help with kccc application. I am transitioning. I am 6 wks without a relaxer. I wash my hair then apply the knot today afterwards. I then apply the custard but it does not come out curly. What am I doing wrong? I am having to braid my hair in 4 sections then when I take it out, its still not right unless I have to wait to take it out when its completely dry. What do you do if you have to go somewhere and its not completely dry? Help!!

@x3redbonebabe thank you! Well, kinky curly is the best product I have used so far to get this look, however I have tried the Eco Styler gel and that works pretty well too at defining curls. I'm working on finding the technique that works best for me so I can make a video with that product.

well from what I read on her website and what I have experienced...I noticed that the parts of my hair that are damaged from heat stay straight even after I apply the kinky curly custard...I had my friend use it as well and we both found that whatever our hair looks like in the shower thats the what kinky curly helps it to keep it that way...however, it's with a good amount of shrinkage : /

I've watched as many KC tutorial videos I could find and you have the best result in my opinion. I saw your hair in your skin care video too, it looks awesome. thank you! and basically the product will make your curl pattern after you shower just lock in so there's no chance for frizz....so as long as your hair is still curly it should work even if it's relaxed
