I doubt they would change they cast because the movies (if they continue) are running on a different time line than the show. In the series the show ran over roughly 6 or 7 months but in the movie Fire Lord Ozai says the comet isn't coming for another 3 years. So, if that's the case, it would make sense that the characters got older and grew up.

Also, I think Noah Ringer is adorable and just like Aang in real life. I hope that comes through in the next movie (if it happens).

@IUKAchan Well, lets look at Harry Potter for instance, it was ok to not change the cast because the original book had him growing up as each book progressed. But the Avatar however, as the books progressed (water, Earth, Fire) he stayed the same age. So...they might change him. I dont know.
