  • good job great lift 120 shoulder press is very impressive dont listen to all the retards talking shit lets see all these shit talkers post there attempts with the 120's

  • @GetFuckedUbitch thats the worst spotting!!! do it from the elbow so he still has to do all the work..

And let me give you a tip for yourself........ Do steroids to the extreme, eat super clean, high protein and take every supplement thats out there... and do this for 2 years straight...and use THAT as your BEFORE PIC!!!!!!!!!!!! BITCHHHHHHHHHHH! (ps. 40 people agree with me that you're a douche!)

  • @cetnickiponos 40 people agree with me...and if you look below everyone is hatin on your poor poooor pooooooor spotting skills!

if you got spotting problems i feel sorry for you son... i got 99 problems but being a out of shape spotter aint one!

  • If there was a video showing the exact way NOT to spot a shoulder press...IT WOULD BE STARRING THAT FAG!

  • lol the spotter prolly made him weaker

  • wow, its not that bad. maybe the chest comes into it a little bit....

  • asians have small penises, nobody cares if he can do 120s for shoulders...

at the same time look at his the back of his hand at how there not faced back lol its like an inverted shoulder press

  • Dumb spotter, i had a guy spot me like that at the gym. Dude was grabbing my wrists instead of my elbows to help me push up... -_-

  • guess who feels small after watching this??

  • sick dude im 19 and weigh 145 and i was stoked to finally get up 65's and you basically double that! haha nice!!

  • thats so hardcore that i cant even make fun of you for wearking gloves. respect.

  • to all the haters out there screw you. For the lifter , good lift

  • why the hell is the spotter grabing your wrists lol, he sucks. Get a better spotter!

  • I'm 17 and I've been lifting for half a year. I can only do 35s on this haha. INTENSE!

  • Absolutely Gay form, These fags at the gym are all about showing off... He is working his chest and shoulders which makes it easy, if his lower back was touching the seat, he would be in hospital with 2 broken shoulders lol

  • what the hell.... its not even an incline press... the bench isnt even inclined... its straight... makes me worry what you think your working out when you go to the gym mate...

  • Good Press

  • good lift bro.i think you need to train with a guy a lil more your level though.it'll help you alot too.you know the whole competing against each other kinda thing.

  • Dude thats nuts man thats a lot of weights, you are strong, i can do around 34 kg but will try to push it to 36 tomorrow but that spotter is an idiot, he shouldnt be in the gym looking at his size and inability to try to even spot correctly..

  • the spotter really seems concerned about helpin his buddy....poor guy would've gotten fucked up cuz his spotter was nowhere near him for support

  • leds guy ur a moron if u touch ur shoulders with the weights its terrible for your rotator cuffs w 135 pounds ull blow them both out idiot

Proper form is triceps parallel to the floor get a clue brainless

  • its not hard to see, that this guy is FUCKING STRONG. Look how easily he puts up reps 3,4 and 5. That is 120 pounds per hand.

  • Good lift! I love all the losers on here here saying its an easy lift, meanwhile they couldn't do it in their dreams!!!! Fuckin LOSERS!!!!

  • @chadley6916 hahaha you're absolutelly right mate ! there are fucking many pussies who like to moan

  • i can shoulder press 130lb dumbells in each arm and im 13 200

  • @13andincrediblycut

U couldn't press a water bottle douche bag!!!

  • @chadley6916 I could press MANY water bottles because i can press 260 all together in a straight bar should press. :)

  • @13andincrediblycut

sure ya can kid, sure ya can!!!

  • @chadley6916 I can I swear.

  • ha ha 120s arnt that heavy for a start and second if u dont use full r o m thier is quite simply no point doing the exercise unless u wanna kid urself u can lift this weight i pressed 135s off my shoulders recently prior to this i cud do maybe 6 or 7 reps half rom on 135s and can only do 1 rep full r o m touching shoulders its built my shoulders far better than half reps and i nowtruly belive i can shoulder press this weight pal

  • THIS IS PISS EASY . I THOUGHT I WAS SHIT TOO . BUT THIS IS LEMON SQUEESY

  • super strength, good job

  • ther half reps u wanna be touching ur shoulders

  • @leedsguy85

moran stop acting like u know shit. i hate it when people say that! , touching ur shoulders with 120's will give u joint pain problems. when ur going heavy then u never do full range motion.

  • jeez i do that workout with 35s and i thought i was the shit

  • never spot from the wrist always from the elbow...your spotter is gonna hurt you bro but good job

  • bad spot and bad form. work on your technique, pussy

  • cool i do:

    50x12

    60x12

    70x12

    80x10

    90x8

    90x8

    100's on a good day.

  • @joelsopher

if u were really as strong as u claim .you wouldnt be so insecure as to make fun of others for lifting less

  • @anytingbu I apologize for my actions, believe me or not, i am shoulder pressing 100lb dumbells for 6 reps. i know its only 6 reps, but like i said.. believe it or not, i am still pushing them up and trust me.. i personally think its the hardest exercise out there bro even if your lifting 50's or 100's. :)

  • @PG1990SAH LOL, yah your right, have fun lifting your 50 lb dumbbells while im lifitng double jackass.

  • @joelsopher I do 50 lb'ers 7reps x 5sets but im only 160lb so thats prob not bad :)

  • @TNAfan123 Thats what I do and Im @ 137 and I'm going to do it at 125 lbs as well once Im done cutting. My max set is 65x3 reps today.

  • @TNAfan123 why you don't eat than?

  • Big cat accidentally the whole dumbbell!!!

  • Nice upper chest workout

  • lmfao haha push ur back more against the seat fk off knts.. his doing perfect .. it's fkn heavy and he need to arch a bit spastics lol.. frkn when u doin flat bench press ur wrokin out ur shoulders too so dun tell me he has to keep his frkn back staright fkn amateures

  • EASY!!!!!!

  • @0bigtony0

yah, you need to push your lower back into the lower part of the bench(seat). and then thats when you are hitting your medial delts. he is hitting more front delts than anything. which a shoulder press should be overall all of your delts, but mostly medial.

    100's are great. :)

    dumbbell - medial delts

barbell behind neck press - medial delts

barbell front press - front delts

  • Ok to clear things up. Everyone his back is perfect. enough with the medial deltoid bullshit okay. The shoulder press does the entire deltoids. The angle wich hes using isint gonna affect the part in wich he is working. You bunch of fuckin goofs

  • i press 30 kg on each hand

    very strong dude

  • push your lower back into the seat. your doing more of an incline press.

overall your strong dude, keep it up!!!!! only at 100's at the moment.

  • @joelsopher

I agree, pretty much looked like an incline bench to me. I also workout out with 100s

  • @0bigtony0 its hard to with that sort of weight, maybe he was trying to get more of the fronts but i doubt it.

  • @joelsopher Hard to come by good form vids on youtube of ppl doing shoulderpress (with high weight ofcourse) rathar than an incline, i arch my back to when shoulderpressing BUT my ass is at least 90% of the time touching the back of the chair - aka "on the bench"

  • @joelsopher

an incline press of 80 degrees... dont make me laugh

  • @joelsopher lol i've seen this dude in fitness magazines and your telling him how to workout?!?!?!.....LMFAO!

  • @joelsopher Meh, sure. Still this is almost straight and still purely shoulders.

  • @joelsopher There is no chest involved. This is perfect form to avoid shoulder injuries when going heavy.

  • @joelsopher He probably just got that guy somewhere in the gym that doesn't really know what he was doing.

  • pretty strong but ur left had is twisting while going up and down the right hand is fine try balancing them straight its harder

  • amazing strength. 7 reps!

  • Good set

  • wrist is the safest for a spot like this.

  • @djaziatic 100% agree. So many spot at the elbows. This does nothing to save the person from injury if their wrist fails.

  • slightly holding the wrists isnt gonna save a wrist snap. By pushing on the elbows, it lessens the load on the wrist.

  • I was reffering to someones wrist buckling in towards their face.

  • @ceeIoc wrong

  • @ceeIoc wrong

Tell me this what happens is the dumbells become off balance? and they both go diffrent ways?

(good luck catch 2 120s matey by holding elbows)

  • No you should NEVER push on joints. Ignore the idiots saying push elbows. Push only on muscles, not joints.

  • Strong shit man!

  • Comment removed

  • worst spotter ever

  • Wow, that spotter should be shot! If he dropped those dumbbells, he would be toast. What a dumbass!

  • NEW SPOT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Spotter is suppose to be holding his elbows, come on bro lol

  • the SPOTTER SUCKS! DUMP HIM!

  • if u ask me, i think the spotter did his job, kept helping to a minimum and only helped when really needed.

i just like MY spotters like that lol.

  • exactly.

though he should have been pushing up on his elbows if anything.

  • @azsianwun couldnt agree more mate, if he posted the video with hes "spotter" holding hes elbows from the begining

you would have some ass saying spotter is taking all the weight or most.

  • @cetnickiponos he does suck.

  • @cetnickiponos you're right, he is big so i thought he knew what he was doing...but damn he could have made the guy lose his balance spotting like that

  • wow his spotter sucks balls

  • @IGIXER750 the spotter is fine

  • check out my videos..me dumbbell shoulder press 70 pound each hand..and dumbbell bench 90 pound each hand ALOTS OF REPS..only 14 year old check it out..

  • BET HE CAN'T DO 4 SETS WITH THAT WEIGHT

  • lol jk but seriously, dont be a plug. you have a huge ego. look at your post and your display pic. its easy to see why you started lifting. watch where youre swinging that ego around eh bud

  • spotter was shit lol

  • Look at the "150 shoulderpress video" the huge beast guy that does them one arm at a time - he does 30 pound MORE with full ROM thats how shoulderpress should be done.

this guy is also strong but i belive he'd not go above 105 if he had done them at full ROM

  • This was full ROM

  • Again if u compare it with the beast that shoulderpresses 150 he goes down ALL THE WAY to his shoulder while this guy go 85 degrees down or so which is OK, but is not considret a full rep why is it diffrent from benchpress where u touch or at least ALMOST touch ur chest? unless you suffer from an injury you should nearly touch your shoulder and pass the 90 degree angle twoice

  • Good lift all of this other talk isn't needed. I choose not to go heavy on shoulders but moderate 8 to 12 reps because my shoulders can't take those buddy but if it could man I would love to bet that kind of weight.

  • that impressive since this bodybuilder wasn't even that massive. im 170lbs been stucked with 80s for a while...~

  • yea im impressed. i weigh 175 and i also am stuck on the 80's im also 6'3" tho so i have very long arms

  • 170 at 6"3 is pretty light man but doing 80s at that weight is pretty good.

  • I CAN DO THAT TOO

  • a true seated overhead would be done on a bench that is just flat withn nothing to lean you're back against and enable an arch, which, like i was saying, enables a high incline benchpress to be formed out of what was originally intended to be a seated overhead press..try doing a seated overhead on a bench with no back rest..use a totally flat bench to sit on...like i said though,i still compliment the strength of this video..it just shouldnt be called a true seated overhead press.

  • fuck your mother bobbyd

  • It's not called a true seated over head press. It's called shoulder press, and that is what a shoulder press is.

  • when u do real weight like this u have to bend your back so u dont blow out your shoulder

  • the form police LOL theyre just doin their job

  • damn one minor fuck up and there goes your shoulder not worth the risk

  • no matter where i go the form police are spittin out scare tactics no matter what lift i see. unbelievable

  • yep. they patroll youtube around the clock, anxiously searching to spread their jealously to the next victim who's doing a better job than they are.

  • yeah, and then when you click their names you see that all their favorite vids are dragonballz and wwe clips.

  • Kind of turned it into an incline bench but still very strong

  • there was really nothing wrong with your form.. Seriously its almost impossible not to bend your back when your upper body is higher than the bench from the shoulders up.

  • very good strength no doubt ,but these are actually technically "High incline Benchpresses"..Back has to be straight for them to be technically considered seated shoulder presses...try doing standing db overheads...they're alot harder than seated db overheads that incorporate the back arch....still,definately very good strength. (No Hater)

  • o.O rly? when i do shoulder press i almost always have an arch in my lower back/middle back, it just feels natural and i feel nothing in my chest?

  • like i said..he's very strong no doubt..its just that this is not truly in the truest sense a shoulder press..it is basically a high incline benchpress because of the substaintial back arch being incorporated..a true measure of db overhead press ability would be done standing..try using 50's and doing a set on a bench like in this video, and then try pressing em standing..you will see and realize that there is a huuuuuge difference.

  • perhaps but he sure as hell still works his shoulder allright!

  • Standing up is a totally different ballgame because your back is not being supported, it has nothing to do with shoulder incorporation.

  • slightly lighter dude if your form is off then you should defo go lighter, i aint trolling jus dont want fellow gym enthusiasts gettign injured

  • lol john is so huge. his arms are like bazukas

  • His strong but if youre working out its smarter to use ligher weights just my opinion but yeah i think thats a better way of working out

  • hahaha like the spotter could life that weight

SEVEN REPS!!! TRAINING FOR STRENGTH EH

  • All the Internet-kids gathering around yet another video with weights they'll never get close to no matter what form they use.

  • better off with less weight!

  • overhead DB press is bad for your shoulders eh? What school of retards did you graduate from?

  • dangerous man "dan-ge-rous", where did you see "bad"... heh :P

  • you're a fucking stupid cunt, the end.

  • from the elbows spotter!

  • .... please die, make educated comments only fuck head

  • Hmm, that looked very heavy indeed but your form was good - smooth and controlled - I'm very impressed! I'm about to go and press, I shall remember your efforts!

  • I hope that was your last set.

  • sickness

  • I feel like such a wimpy bitch nao lol

  • IM ALMOST THERE IM AT 105'S

  • asian pride homie. keep doing yo thang. and yeah ur spotter aint that good of a spotter lol only strong ppl spot by liftin ur wrists hahaha he shoulda boosted ur elbows

  • get a new spotter

  • That spotter was kinda useless but I'm just glad to see a video on here other than " checkout my bench press"..Congrats though. Keep up the good work.

  • That's pretty darn impressive, wish I could do that.

  • Strongest Shoulder Press I ever seen excellent form you set an example to all weightlifters Good Job

  • what a dummy spotting him there

  • Dumbbell Shoulder Press my favorite. People fear them, and will try to get others from doing them, coz they are tough but they will toughen you. Years and years, I have done heavy db press with absolutely ZERO INJURY even when the weight travels coz they toughen you, just start low and keep torso tight particularly abs.

  • That's a strong fella! Whenever someone is pushing heavy weights does anyone note the extra ordinary length of "critics", mostly people who can't lift half as much if they wanted to. Pick up some weight and stop complaining.

  • u should stick with barbell shoulder presses dude

its probably less annoying too cuz dumbells make u lose ur balance easily and that ruins everything in my opinion

  • Im sure that John thanks some random 17 year old kid with no pics for his. LOL!! Whatever hes doing is obviously working as he is 225+ Lbs and ripped to shreads

  • thats why its best to have a spotter to keep the balance, you need to switch up the routine to shock(trick) the muscles. if you stick to the same key workout you will never grow.

  • Excellent post.

  • listen people anyone who lifts heavily can tell you that his back angle is fine. and the only way to get stronger is to lift heavy ass weights for 4-6 reps try it dont be a pussy and dont hate.the only area he needes to improve on is his elbow position they should be back. shoot for paralel with the wall behind you. and try to stay wide close= triceps. other than that great lift.

  • you are correct because if he was sitting at 90 degrees or completely erect, he would be putting unnecessary stress on his shoulder socket. If you look at any professional bodybuilder, they would have similar form that the guy in the video.

  • i didnt think the form was too bad. ok it wasnt perfect and he could probably do with coming down a few pounds and concentrating more on the form but still, 120 dumbbells is very impresive. id be happy to be doing half that!

  • bad form big ego and drugs always work out.

  • It's amazing when someone has actual video proof of something being done wrong and still can't see it. It's big weight yes but, your practically on the edge of the seat elblows way in front of you . Looks more like your working triceps and upper pecs and front shoulder area. Any strength or muscle gain attained by you my little friend is a result of drug abuse, because you obviously have a big ego you wouldn't want to hurt.

  • Couldn't agree more. This guy's form is horrendous and he's getting more of an upper pec workout than anything else...does he actually plan on ever doing real shoulder presses with his back against the seat?

  • I didn't think the guy had that bad of form. His back was kind of far out, but I still wouldn't call it an incline press. Plus, on the shoulder press seats without the pedals, it's practically impossible to straighten out with that much weight above your head.

  • This bitch probably can't press half that weight, so he throws out the "steroids" card. Pathetic.

  • @HeadlessEye i pressed 40s at the age of 15 100% natural so im sure he could do them without gear

  • lol r u stupid? simply hating on peoples lifts simply because theyre lightyears beyond yours is pathetic.

  • That's the first thing that came to my mind INCLINE PRESS...his back is about to fly off the seat.

  • Comment removed

  • monksnake is right about heavy weight forcing growth, but the guy in this video is putting a huge amount of presure on his spine, as we all know a back injury can finish you off for life
