I've watched this whole cutscene several times before.

Everytime I'm drawn into watching all 30 minutes of it over and over intently.

The new strain of FOXDIE was injected inside Snake when he first encountered Drebin, unknowingly thought it was suppressed nanomachines. Because the new is replacing the old, the new strain prevented itself from killng the host, just like the shadow moses incident

Uhh, he fired but he kinda..........how do I explain it.......he missed on purpose.....he must've moved the gun at the last second, not able to actually kill himself.

The series isn't over. They just won't keep Snake as the main character. But it won't be as epic as the ones with snake in it.

and if snake wont be main they should still have go out fighting in a cut senes batte then end the game with his funeal playing the mgs theme as they put him to rest

There's a big gap for Big Boss between MGS3 and when he was "put to sleep". So the more bad ass snake could still be present in the MGS series
