How would anyone believe that Jesus Christ wasn't exist? I'm not a Christian and I do believe that Jesus was a real person BUT I think he was just another normal man, not a son of God or anything like that. I got strong feeling that Jesus was a very smart man. I think Jesus and his little gang attempted to fool the people. If they were faking, they did hell of a job. If you want to find out about non-sensationalized facts you should look into the debates of Dr. James White, his videos are on youtube. He is a textual critic, reads the original language texts and is far more qualified to speak on the issues brought up in this video than anyone featured.

Whether or not you are a Christian, there is an abundance of documented evidence that Jesus existed, virtually no historians doubt he was a real person. The question comes whether or not he was the messiah, or the Son of God. But to question Jesus's existence is to argue against pretty solid evidence.

It's far more likely that "Jesus" is a combination of different messiahs

...many "messiahs" had sects of followers during the time of Jesus who were supposedly born of virgins, walked on water, were crucified, and went to heaven

1. Evidence that there were rumors of such a person

2. Interpolations (Josephus and the like)

3. Evidence that a human being named "Jesus," not evidence of a god-man

Tacitus, Suetonius, Velleius Paterculus, Dio Cassius, Josephus, Pliny the Younger, and some Hebrew oral commentaries.

Some would argue rhetoric about Sergius Paulus as well, but he was a converted pro counsel member of high education in a time that it would not have been a wise decision to announce such a move.

Too bad Kent resigned his position from the private Christian school where he taught due to Discovery channel's program. I can understand both sides. However, I can't understand how asking questions could possibly cause one to resign their position. So Kent asks probing questions.  So Kent makes some people feel uncomfortable.
