very nice what ever you do once you get that new engine in run it Naturaly Asp for about 1000k then get it Dyno tuned by somone other than who tuned the first motor. There is no way (except abuse)that the motor should be gone already. Nice ride my mustang brother; I own a 500HP 06!

Bought it for $28k. Put an ungodly amount of money into it, including a Vortech SC and a forged motor (actually being installed next week).

So what's it worth? Not nearly as much as I put into it, but that's always the case with modified cars.

310 was when it was NA. Shaker does nothing in way of performance, I have it just dumping ram air into the engine bay.

Car is currently in the shop getting all forged internals. When complete and broken in, I'll post new numbers.

why did you go with the 4.10s over the 3.73s? Do you find that the first gear is too short?

Not enough of a difference going to 3.73's from 3.55's on the 'butt-o-meter' especially after spending $600. The 4.10's are perfect for me, but you're right, 1st gear winds out quick!

Still running the stock exhaust manifolds. Rest of the exhaust is Pypes O/R-H mid pipes and FRPP Stingers (M-5230-5GT).

Excellent car! Did you install a 4:10 rear axle? Did you purchase the car with the basic stock GT axle which is 3:31 or did you start out with the optioned 3:55? How much faster is 4:10 vs. stock?

In 06, all manuals came with 3.55's, autos with 3.31's.

Big difference in the butt-o-meter with the 4.10's!

Don, if you have 3.55's now, you probably won't notice much of a difference going with the 3.73's IMO. Your best bang for the buck will be the 4.10's.

As it sits now, the Shaker is cosmetic. All the ducting has been removed and any ram air just blows into the engine compartment. The K&N CAI had been replaced with the C&L Racer.

Cescobar75: A carbon fiber DS costs double of the aluminum DS, and to me, the gains are not worth the cost. Pulleys aren't 'lighter' in weight, they are of different diameters to cut down on the parasitic belt drive losses.

LOL! Not my daily, so I'm not sure how my mileage is, but going from 3.55's to 4.10's only increase your cruising rpm by around 200. I can't imagine mileage suffering that much. As far as acceleration, 4.10's rule. =)

everything was changed from stock, Kenne Bell 2.22 supercharger at 18psi,Kenne Bell Big Oval TB,Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump, Kenne Bell Boost-A-Spark, 60lb Injectars, Billet Flow Roller Pully, Hooker Headers, Powwer Pully, Php CAI, Magnaflow Catback, Eiback Pro Kit, MgW Short throw shifter,19x10.5 Billit Rims in the rear 18x9.5 in the front. and for tires i have 335/36/20 in the rear and 335/35/19 in the front.
