  • I watched you on Tosh.O!!!!!!!!!

  • hey you were the guy on tosh0 hahaha

  • Nice video......this guy looks like he just fixed a transmission..... cool

  • Thanks a lot! No one really showed me how to do this in my unit so this was a big help!

  • real men sleep in combat gear

  • Great tip.

    Neatness counts !

    Cheers.

  • Mate, why don't you use the laces on the BDU to do that? I do that all the time ( is a pain in the ass to tie them but hey, it's good :P )

  • Great video! I just joined Civil Air Patrol and this definitely helped! Thank You!

  • I have U.S. Navy standard issue Blousing straps.

  • id like some like that but in black... and im a girl btw... how do I find some?

  • @DJFAXONATION amazon i just tried to message you the link but you have friend lock on.

  • @derekgrebner87 my bad... could u give it to me on comments?

  • @DJFAXONATION i sent you a note with them

  • haha one guy my friend knows had the zipper break on the 2nd day of his encampment

  • Thank you!

  • 14 people wear sandals

  • I am in the Coast Guard, and we are required to blouse our pants. FYI all the naval services do this: Navy, Marines Corps, and Coast Guard. Army and Air Force don't use blousing straps; they just tuck them in.

By the way, your boots are most likely made in China... or at least in that part of the world.

  • Thank u man ! How can I wash my boots?

  • I am in MCROTC, and we use these green bands with hooks (boot bands) they work better then rubber bands, but rubber bands are useful if you lose them ^.^

  • @GummiBearGiggles

    Military BDU/BOOT Blousers

  • they do use this method in the military, plenty of my friends said the same thing.

  • This helped since I got a new pair of boots for mountain warfare school and their only 7 inches so tucking them in doesn't work

  • hey man i got my tactical boots really dirty and was wondering how i can clean them? i thought of just throwing them in the wash but not usre ;S

  • Great. How about a video explaining the velcro ones?

  • I like the boots. Though, I would suggest using strong rubber bands so that they stay in place. When I blouse my boots, they do not even move one inch and they look beautiful. I put the rubber band around my leg as tight as possible, put on the boots, pull my pants to my ankles, bring the bottom opening of the pants up so that they are inside out, pull the rubber bands down to where the boot laces are. Oh, and tuck in the boot laces... it looks so much better.

  • maybe in the army...but im looking for usmc boot camp blouseing of the boot...so play rambo home boy your dead wrong

  • @snakeeater5fox funny thing is a usmc showed me this style. that and Im sure with it being bootcamp and all, theyre going to teach you Plenty. best of luck to you.

  • @derekgrebner87 Marine Officer at my gym told me to do it this way.

  • @derekgrebner87 a usmc showed you? I think its a Marine. And they teach you once.

  • @derekgrebner87 Does this work with rubber bands?

  • @snakeeater5fox blousing boots are the same. I just spent a week running missions, and half the the people in my humvees were marines, the other half army like me. We both blouse our boots, and we both do it one of two ways: with straps or cords, or just by tucking the pantlegs into the tops of the boots and folding the excess down. This guy is an assclown bc he's wearing multicam with a mossy oak cowboy hat, white socks, and zipper boots.

  • @snakeeater5fox Traditionally, Army didn't blouse their boots, they tucked them into the boot, this video shows the same way I learned in the Marine Corps- keeping talking to people like shit, nasty civilian....

  • @snakeeater5fox your stupid nuff said

  • usually after you tie the boot you tuck it into the boot

    well the laces

  • usually after you tie the boot you tuck it into the boot

  • cant you blouse them by tucking them in the boots instead?

  • 25 cents at the PX will get you a pair of blousing bands. But I guess for civilians you can use hair ties. Either way they work the same. In the Army we're supposed to keep our laces tucked in and we have to blouse our trousers up above our boots. I just tie my trousers around my ankle and wear them under my boots. I only watched this video to find other ways to blouse boots. Always good to learn new shit right?

  • you dont know what your doing...i was in the army for many yrs and deployed at that. I think your best bet is a navy seal knot.

  • I like the color camoflauge more than the boots, Tru Specs?

  • u didnt even do it right dude. no disrespect but they look like shit at least put the boot band at the top of your boot and tuck it in all the way so it doesnt look like your wearing high waters....and tuck your fuckn lases in!!!!

  • Were you in the military or are/were you a LEO?

  • Nice video. Multicam is definitely the way to go...and it is amazing the number of people that don't know that BDU's are cut to be bloused.

  • Oh so you fold the cuff underneath the blouser?

  • Nice thanks alot.

  • you spelled tactical wrong in the title

  • damn you bought multicam that shit 's exspensive

  • what kind of camo pattern is on those bdu pants?

  • @camakazi48 multicam it's the us army camo that's replacing acu

  • @camakazi48 multicam

  • Thank you for the infomation, blousing enables a more secure hold to both ends of combat trousers and boots.

  • Do you know the size or barcode # for the hair ties you bought? I saw several different sizes and thickness at Wal-Mart. Thanks.

  • blousing boots are stupid. never did it once when i was over seas. no point in doing it. sure it looks good in garrison, but in the field its pointless. i guess it stops bugs from crawling up you pants.

  • @kirkalicious86

I think you just contradicted yourself there. Blousing offers protection. It stops insects and assorted nasties looking for a warm place to hide, it stops foreign objects entering your boots, it reduces wear on the bottoms and you're not as likely to snag on anything like bushes, trees etc. I'll grant you there's not much woodland in Afghanistan, but do it the same way every time and you're not going to get caught out. That's just good drills.

  • Hey those hair tie's are a great idea. Then with the left overs you can put your hair in a pony tail on the days you feel like being a girlie girl.

  • i thought that's what the ties at the cuff are for. or tucking them into the boot either way looks sharp nice job.

  • do u where bdu's every where u go

  • @derekgrebner87, also, how much do they weigh? The lighter the better. I like the side zipper, seems like a good idea.

  • @derekgrebner87, are those water proof?

  • Nothing wrong with that D, But, I did my time.....You Blouse the Pants around the ankle to keep out the bugs. Then you roll them down over the boots...

    D

  • my friend told me for pomp and sercomstsnce the would use heavy chain chocker collers to make perfict blousing....

  • at 0:23 it looks like you have dog shit on your heal

  • @LaCosaNostra97 i cracked up at your comment i dont kno why tho

  • hey that's pretty cool man nice idea!!

  • The Marines, which both my brothers are teach/preach this. Unlike some Army guys I see dragging their cuffs around on the ground.

  • Looking Good!

  • Do you do this because you dislike the drawstrings at the bottom of BDU's?

  • CB95's have a lace in the bottom to tie off, but you get some twisters for parade wear, looks a lot better.

  • sorry but I never ever saw anyone do it like this other than in basic training and after we morons did it like this our TI laid into us for being dumb and re-educated our young dumb arses on the proper way. But you being a civi with no military knowledge ..... well you did what you thought would work. Nice attempt keep working on it.

  • I dislike the 5.11 tac boots because they don't have steel toes. Nice multicam

  • @MegaGewehr when the mine goes off only your toes are left.

  • @derekgrebner87 I don't think that's the purpose of steel toes! lol Oh wells, at least my body could be ID'd, so set match MegaGewehr

  • @derekgrebner87 LOL they do not meet OSHA standards but they look good. This is typical. I personally do not care about OSHA but some have to so it is a factor sometimes when buying boots.

  • Im not sure about active duty army but in ROTC they dont allow any boots with zippers, i wear the standard issue crappy boots because I actually got a comfortable pair (after 4-5 times going to supply and switching them out.)

I loosely tuck my trousers into my boots, it looks the same but i can't quiet get the tops of my boots as tight as i like when I try to blouse them but it gets pretty hot in spring quarter, anyone recommend a good pair of boots that the Army likes that are comfortable?

  • @derekgrebner87 when a kick to the jaw comes id rather to kick them with steel toe then without

  • @derekgrebner87 dont they make composite non-metallic safety toes?

  • @ZDiggidy814 They have fiberglass ones for electricians, or people who work with high voltage

  • @derekgrebner87 A lot of career fields require steel toes.

  • @MegaGewehr where I live steel toe boots are seriously not a good idea. In cold temps that reach -30 to -40F and you have steel toes......kiss the toes good-bye from frost bite.

  • @danhilts I was in the ROK when temperatures were around -20F, and my feet didn't get cold wearing Bates USMC steel toe boots. I dunno if it's because the leather, my good cardio, or the cold weather socks. Here in KS it rarely gets below 0, so I can't really test it out further.

A few of my buddies have the 5.11 boots and won't STFU about them!

  • @MegaGewehr hey 5.11 DOES make steel toes now they are called the A.T.A.C shield boot they are a 8in. sidezip and they are great boots

  • @MegaGewehr I kinda prefer non steel toe boots, steel toes are heavy.

  • @MegaGewehr

steel toes are so rigid and hurt

  • 4 years in the Army, I've never used boot-blousers. I just tuck the legs of my ACU's into the top of my boot.

  • That aint how its done,son.....I'll post the way I was taught to Blouse My Fatigues,Its a very important ordeal....and it must be mastered if you wanna wear BDU's properly...Be watching for an update....

  • You can order real boot bands off the internet. They hook around instead of being a solid band. Semper Fi Tex

  • neat never though of that.

  • is it just me or is the vid glitching?

  • ya know me not being in the service I just thought they were tucked in to the boot. thanks again for letting me know I am a fucking moron

  • @paranormalservices-- Depends on the service and the service member. Some do directly tuck them into their boots. Some use blousing straps.

I can't say I recall ever working with anyone who 'wanted' to blouse their pants. They only did it because they 'had' to.

  • @jakkd07 ok I didn't know any of that. Alot of people don't want to wear DBUs but they do it cause they have to. however if they drag then it really needs to be don't sounds like

  • Niceeeeeeeeee

  • looks like you got a little bit of dog shit on the hills #LOL

  • good idea, thanks.
