I think either stevend9911 got the lyrics wrong or the dude/dudette who sings the song can't sing portuguese. cuz I'm sure it's: 'Um, dois, tres, quatro'. And that's portuguese. And i heard this song on a Portugal-worshiping video. so...
@markhenrykern you're yelling at me. I was clearing something up. And geez, sorry for saying something that wasn't exactly right. I admit to being wrong, I'm human, but going off like that was childish of you.
@sailorweddingpeach8 when did I yell? I never did all caps, that was a response to your statement @TheTurkeySlasher... all I did was talk normally.... if there was a bit of spite mixed in, it was because you were being hypocritical about his all caps at you after you have used all caps to complain yourself. I never "went off"...
@markhenrykern As I said to TheTurkeySlasher, my younger sister sailorweddingpeach8 is one to get heated up very easily. We deal with an environment where people yelling at us and at each other has always been an issue, so after reading her's and your comments, I see where she is coming from, but I am very sorry if she said anything to offend or bother you. I should go make her apologize, but seeing as it was a while ago and she's busy with school, I will not. Once again, I'm very sorry.
@LycoriProductions thank you for that, honestly, I would have been impressed with her if she had simply acknowledged that she made a mistake, rather than get defensive(I only knew that it was the same words because I took both spanish and japanese when i was in school), I don't really get upset, it's not worth it, and especially on the internet, no one wins in such a situation.
@markhenrykern *sigh* Unfortunately, she is not one to admit she is wrong so easily. I wish she was, but I know she has our mother's hotheaded blood. She may be a kind and gentle person at her best, but sis is just so easily worked up... I know she will come around sometime and apologize... That's just who she is. Kind at the heart, with a tough exterior.
@markhenrykern Listen, I've been thinking about it for a while, and I'm... sorry. I did kinda make a mistake, and after my sister got involved, she kinda helped me to see that I was wrong. She told me that I should apologize last night. That what I said was kinda mean, and after sleeping on it, I decided she was right. And that you and TheTurkeySlasher were right. I'm still learing the languages myself, so I guess you're a bit better at it than I am. I hope we can be friends. :)
@TheTurkeySlasher I go to look up the lyrics for this song and find fighting. Now, I expected that, but... it's a fight with my younger sister. sailorweddingpeach8 and I are sisters, and I sincerely apologize for her actions, seeing as how she didn't... Very sorry.
I love this song sooooo much, thanks for uploading, I was doing a terrible job of self translating what she was singing. oops, lol. I'm still trying to get the timing right.
Great song but it's un, dos, tres, cuatro instead of uno, dos, tres, quatro. You did a great job with the lyrics, its easy to follow the song. Thanks stevend9911
You guys can dl the whole 2006 CD from Bubblegum Dancer forums (free although needed registration). I got it from there just yesterday after finding out Misa's complete name is MISA WAJIMA.
By the way, the song says "un, dos, tres, CUATRO". Quatro is italian (i believe). It's hard to explain the difference between "un" and "uno" though. But roughly, "uno" is the number itself; "un" is NOT a # by itself, but a particle for counting:
@sailorweddingpeach8 do you know japanese or spanish? ichi, ni, san, shi, go, roku= 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, that is literally what they are saying, uno, dos, tres, quatro are spanish for 1, 2, 3, 4....
when they do the romanization of the Japanese language, I believe they use the Spanish alphabet for it because the sounds of the letters in Spanish are similar to Japanese
Each language is phonetically different, but many share the pronounciation. The pronounciation of fx. Icelandic, Japanese, Spanish and many other languages is the same. ;)
Maeken's version is a (very very good) cover. I always recommend it to anyone who likes this one, which is the original. The song comes from MISA - CODE originally.
