I gained a lot of respect for Jericho when I heard the story of how he took down Goldberg in the locker room in a legit fight after Goldberg's ego got out of control and he started believing his own hype. In-ring, Jericho was awesome, but I think his cushy WWE surroundings have softened up his style too much; he needs to bring some of these moves back into rotation!

For the most part, the only difference was the name of the move, as Liontamer was during his WCW days as "Lionheart" Chris Jericho. The Walls of Jericho became the new name upon his WWF debut, and not too long afterward, complaints came in about the move, and it eventually became less of a Torture Crab, and more of a traditional Boston Crab. Since then, the Liontamer name represents the move's old form, while Walls of Jericho refers to its current execution.

Generally, either move works, depending on the date of the clip. Liontamer was the name of the move in WCW, due to his "Lionheart" nickname. Walls of Jericho was the name he gave the move after his WWF debut, though nowadays, Walls of Jericho is usually associated with the current version of the move.

According to Lance Storm, he uses the regular Crab on opponents with bad backs or opponents who are too big for the Torture. This would explain the NXT and JTG instances.
