I always wondered what happened to her. The voice.. so pure.. HUGE.. and she sounds totally comfortable up there. She is totally in a league with Chaka and Patti. She surpasses Whitney and Mariah in my opinion. Not by much.. but she has the something extra. Her career should have taken off, but I guess she wanted to keep her clothes on. I respect her for having values...

I remember hearing "Come On in Out of the Rain" on the radio station KMEL when I lived in San Jose as a kid and thinking: "WOW!!! SHE SOUNDS SO GREAT LIKE WHITNEY!!!!" and I loved the song so much I asked my parents to buy me her album. The thing was, I noticed they stopped playing that song on the radio after about a month or so and I think it's probably because she didn't get full promotion. I guess if she was her boss's main squeeze it would've done a lot better, just kidding! LOL.

Be sure to get a copy of new Christmas cd entitled Tis The Season. It's available on Itunes and Rhapsody. You will happy that you did. Neither Whitney nor Mariah can touch her vocally. In my opinion she should have been just as big of a star as Whitney and Mariah.

I totally agree I am 30 years old and never heard of her till now and I am a die Whitney Houston fan!!! Regine Velasquez sings other people's songs. Does she have any originals? She does indeed have an incredible voice but I have to give kudos to the original singer here I grew up hearing this song & I always loved it. I sing it all the time at Karaoke lol I think I do a good job too!!! I LOVE WENDY MOTEN

Im a filipino I love sheryn and regine. But I think I like the original version better. So full of emotion. Maybe because filipinos are so obsessed wiht people who can sing high. no wonder its always female singers who get big breaks in singing.( most not all okay)

It should have been a US smash and the start of an illustrious career for Wendy. It wasn't for some odd reason. Now please have Celine Dion record it and bring it to #1 in the USA. The songwriter(s) deserve this. An amazing song.

O this is the original singer of this song which was really my favorite...this was also revived by Sheryn Regis of Philippines and she give justice to this song..Im Sure Wendy Moten would love to see her if she heared Sheryn's version..They are both GOOD for me!
