@thehuntz1 If you don't like music that doesn't cater to your beliefs (not that they are somehow required to do so), then you are free to look elsewhere for music that does. I'm sure there are other metal bands out there that follow Athiestic notions.
@thehuntz1 You know, I was trying to be civil and not take you as a stereotypical athiest snob, but that kind of statement makes it impossible for me to do so in either case. Again, I reiterate my message: if you don't like the music, don't listen to it, but at the same time know that there are other people that appreciate this kind of music, but don't necessarily appreciate that kind of (hypocritical) viewpoint. Any more than if you had said religion should be involved in all music.
@thehuntz1 Eh, I'll agree to that much. As for clarification, my pet peeve wasn't you being an Athiest, I just don't take to your idea that music like this should be regulated.
@WingZeroAlpha 6 months later, I came back to the song because I haven't listened to it in a while. My atheistic views have changed. I started thinking about Raelism, the belief that what people perceive as "gods" are actually extra-terrestrials and they genetically manipulated humans in their own image. Strange; I know. For a while, I was thinking that's just it, those extra terrestrials did their thing and left us on earth. But now I'm thinking that I should be following them as gods.
@thehuntz1 Sorry for the delay in reply. Anyway, if that's what you believe now then so be it; personally, I find it a longshot, yet at the same time there's more evidence than the idea of there being "nothing out there" at all (certainly explains the Nazca lines). And nice to hear from you.
Theocracy really surprised me, I had no idea how good they'd really be until I gave them a listen! The first song I've heard was one of their Christmas specials and was hooked! Not long after I got their albums from itunes and love them!
Their music really makes your soul rise up along with Holy Spirit!
Anyways awesome song! Full of emotions and it captivates me every time I hear it! You literally experience nothing but bliss for the entire 22 minutes! Best epic ever, never a dull moment!
My two all time Metal albums: Judas Priest Painkiller and Theocracy Mirror of Souls. Listened to metal for 22 years and never heard Theocracy...my bro told me about them and i listened...it hit me like a freight train!
I believe they are from Athens, in the US. (not Athen in Greece, which I first thought ^^) This is a really nice song. Long songs like this can be really cool.
i love the song... but.. good work

Would be better if this wasn't a Christian band...

@thehuntz1 grr

@thehuntz1 Actually, I like the fact they're a Christian band, as it shows even heavy metal can be retooled into something that glorifies Him. :p

@WingZeroAlpha Well, I'm an atheist, so I'd prefer music to go with I believe, not completely against it. lol.

@WingZeroAlpha it's not that I'm trying to find an atheist band, I just don't think religion should be involved with music except at church.

@WingZeroAlpha I didn't say I didn't like the music, just the message. There is a difference.

@WingZeroAlpha I understand. Just for me personally, it would be better if it wasn't Christian. You have your opinion and I have mine.
